He was fully aware of the problem but said.. "there's nothing to worry about, all is fine!"

See, they dont make the loans they make the loans better.

Speculation saturated the market with McMansions that no one planned to live in and lenders continued to loan money so speculators could drive home prices above the heads of ppl Fannie and Freddie were created to help. Since its bundled they dont know who actually owns the property however they did know how to get the money (eviction- auction).

The problem with auctions is you need buyers. Home prices start falling and lenders start loaning less to businesses and families. Hence the bailouts to the banks to cover the loans that went into foreclosure....

The corporations made those decisions not the DC Politicians. Congress is now considering a tax on soft drinks (Coke, Pepsi, etc) to take on the tax burden soon to come from the H.C. Bill. I think the social programs could be addressed when times are better!
