Tatsuki is probably the only girl in that anime/manga that doesn't see Ichigo as just a hotty. She knows him better than anyone else, and she demands respect from him in a more secure way than Rukia or orihime. At that, I agree with you smallsvillshowdown -- Tatsuki deserves a better role.

They developed her character, her relationships with others, she was even clearly seeing spirits. Now she's been shafted by some whim of the author. She's come too far too be just an extra, but she's been gone too long to come back as a star. She's stuck inbetween somewhere and it's heartbreaking.
