When Campbell and Raimi were raising money to make Evil Dead, they filmed a short movie and showed it before The Rockey Horror Picture Show at some theaters to raise interest. According to Campbell, he told Tim Curry this story while filming this movie and Curry informed him that he has heard many stories like that about Rocky Horror.
