@Raceboy911 Exactly.. The hidden 944 GTR was actually called 924 GTP LeMans in the LeMans race, while this is either a 924 Carrera GTR or 924 Carrera GTP.

The 924 Carrera GTS made 375HP. The GTR's made up to 450HP. This driver is having difficulty with the timing of his upshifts and downshifts.

924 Carrera GTS made 250Ho, version GTS Club Sport 275HP, and 924GTR 375HP. As far as I remember 924 GTP made 450HP . But this was 2.5l engine.

I must agree with you johnnytenjobs. It sounds very exceptional when upshifting. But I never drove a 924 GT-R. i only have a 924 S and a 924 2.0. Greetings to all 924 friends

There's something unusual about the upshifting this driver is doing. Is it something to do with trying to keep the turbo spinning?

@johnnytenjobs It's called flat shifting. It is to keep the turbo spooled up. While shifting, the driver does not let his/her foot off of the gas in between shifts to accomplish this.

@johnnytenjobs he's not taking his foot all the way off the gas pedel when shifting, which is probably eating his clutch. btw, turbo's are going build very little boost when reving the engine, a steady foot on the throttle is what it takes to build up boost. I've got a 951
