I've heard that people are getting rear ended from slamming on the brakes at these red light camera intersections. If you're lucky, the pedestrian's light will have a countdown on it. So you'll know when the traffic light will change.
Yeah, Id say thats another well-timed Chicago intersection. NOT! Chicago calls itself The City that Works. I dont know whos working because our traffic lights are all poorly timed and theres potholes on every block. Fix the timing on the traffic lights and put longer yellows in and the number of accidents will decrease. Not rocket science but no money for the city there. What a shitty city. Shitcago sounds more accurate. And oh yeah, forget the Olympics!
