Agreed. MC as an unlockable leader would be interesting. HOWEVER... Like the marine in HWs. Make John a hero that allows a certain type of ability at the price of something else. No one should have that silly ability like inf. HP and kill shot. Balance, that is the most important in a game of this format. Sad to see some people don't get that.

He was the only spartan to survive long enough to be given mark 6 armour. If he was an unlockable character then they should sort of make him a leader amoung spartans, sort of like srgt forge is to normal marines.

That's not true if you've read the books, specificly Ghosts Of Onyx. Fred, Linda, Will and I think one of two others get Mark 6 as well

Actually no, have you read the book? All the Spartans at this point are of the same age group. MC was one of the first spartans. He is just not part of the group of Spartans that you encounter in the game. He is out there somewhere during this time, still kicking ass.
