  • as soon as I learned the amount of people that have died over the bible, and how many fallacies it has, I learned to accept knowledge.

  • @funzjake

  • 'Sophisticated' and 'Religion' by definition are not words which belong in the same sentence.

  • @videogamenostalgia

LOL! And right you are! Be Well!

  • if the bible or the qu'ran talked about electricity or dna then the argument would be over. no one would be able to say that a god had not written it if it spoke of obscure things of which its own contemporary readers didnt even have any knowledge. what would be the point of human existence if there was no doubt as to the existence of God? What would be the point of a rational mind granted by a creator if it suited no divine end? As Kierkegaard said, there is no faith without doubt.

Fantastic! Kudos for a well-adjusted comment and insight. All one needs to read to know the bible was written by primitive animals is hosea 13:16. No moral creature would command such evil acts. Thanks for having watched too!

  • Wow. He put it into words so perfectly. What an eloquent and intelligent man.

Yes, Sam is enormously articulate, but also quite fast on his feet. It also doesn't hurt to be right, it adds an internal confidence that is irreplaceable, and the opposite of faith, which is an empty void in your stomach as you await Santa Claus at 96 in a retirement home, and realize he isn't coming. Thanks for watching and posting!

  • love this guy.

  • @wubbadubdub

Sam is excellent! Thanks for watching and commenting too!

  • How, how, how, how, how can someone of religious faith watch this and NOT feel the tug of reason begin to disolve their fantasy? How do they stay so deluded???

  • @SubconsciousGatherer

Great question. We hold that ignorance and fear bring people into religion, and , mental illness keeps them in it,. Thanks too!

  • Sir Harris is a brilliant thinker. He uses great examples to make a logical point.

  • Yes, he keeps it simple and he articulates it sharply and clearly. Thanks for watching a commenting too!

  • brilliant!! Spread the word. Religion is ridiculous

  • @anetchi

Yes, a simple theme. Reality is never that difficult to conceive, it's grand fiction that requires some incredible imagination and effort, as well as a touch for embellishment. Thanks for watching too!
