  • Fact: Take a group of 4th graders and have them read the same passage from the KJV and then from the NIV. Which one do you suppose they will understand?...

    Wasn't the purpose of the KJV to provide a modern English Bible that the common people in 1611 could understand? If God is still alive, well, and in control, why would He deny us the same in our modern tongue? Did something happen to God after 1611, that weakened or handicapped Him, so that He is no longer capable of this?

  • @Benetleilaxyz All very logical points. There are no other translations from the same manuscripts, period.

    That's the problem.

    All other versions are the Catholic corruptions and Greek perversions.

    The NIV is extremely corrupt.

    Granted the 400 year old English language of the KJV involves a slight learning curve, but it is the true word of God and the others are not. Bottom line.
