YO Freakno....spit out the marbles for chrisakes! And stop makin little kids cry...40 bucks for an autograph kid or its hulkamania time! Just aint right... And suing yer kid brother and senior Mom for pocket change aint cool either fathead...the buffoon has NO SHAME!
Hey Lou, I met you at fan expo 2009, and it was a real honour. You are a true inspiration to body building, thank you for your efforts, they have influenced me greatly. Hope you are well.
Lou Ferrigno is the best Incredible Hulk, ever. He's also a great actor as well.Bill Bixby & Lou Ferrigno made a great team together on The Incredible Hulk.Zebrina
He would have been a star body builder, but that would have been it. He was the star of a mojor tv series called the incredible hulk and that opened all sorts of doors for him in hollywood.
And before you say the hulk made him look stupid just remember that millions of people love that show and Lou himself has said many times that he loves playing that character. Go watch Lou's stuff here on you tube when he fondly talks about playing the Hulk. Educate yourself before you speak and look bad
Lou was quite well known in the body building community before the Incredible Hulk, not to mention he was one of the main focuses of the documentary 'Pumping Iron'. Lou has had a very successful career outside of mainstream entertainment built on his hard work, and knowledge of fitness.
Lou didn't quit. A television opportunity called THE INCREDIBLE HULK came his way and changed his direction. Everyone measures success differently. He's married with three children, has his own business and is enjoying a life that most people only dream about. It's a long way from that shy introvert in Brooklyn filmed for PUMPING IRON.
PS Other body builders may not charge 'shit' to have a photo taken with them, but other body builders are not Lou Ferrigno. He is one of a kind and is the largest and most sucessful body builder on earth. Arnold is a little pee wee compared to Lou, specially the way looks today. Lou is in his 50's and is so pumped that he looks scary. Being the best allows certain privelages.
No he's a business man and a smart one. You dont get to be number one by being a timid pussy. I am a professional musician and get asked for pictures all the time. If I like the person then I'll do it for free, if the person is a jerk or I'm not in the mood then I'll charge. Its Lou's disgression. Pizza places dont give slices away for free so an artist or actor doesnt have to either. Its a business and professional. We are in this business to make money to support our families.
He is a business man, and body building and motovational speaking is his business. Does he speak or act for free? no. dealing with fans is a part of his job, and you get paid for your job. If youre to cheap to pay him ar any other business professional then piss off!!!
Lou Ferrigno is number one Arnold is Number 2. If you dont believe me look at the shape Lou is in currently compared to Arnold. I have a great deal of admiration for Arnold as well but all I can say is time has not been kind to Arnold
You rock Lou. You are really the best and such a motivation to all of us. The disipline that I saw in you to persue the difficult regimine of being a pro body builder helped motivate me in 1990 to become a professional trumpet player.
Lou Ferrigno is a good guy. I met him when I was a kid in 1979 in Toronto at the Canadian National Exibition where he posed for me in a polaroid and signed my copy of Tv Guide. Anyone else who says anything nasty about Lou is just jealous of the incredible shape he currently in. Forget Arnold, Lou is number 1!!!
You do realise that there was a lot of BS in Pumping Iron right? The movie is categorized in the genre of 'DocuDrama', meaning that although it is a documentary, it is not entire factual, and it is presented in a way that enforces a certain plot upon the viewer. Long story short....Pumping Iron is lying, not Lou Ferrigno!
you are right. "the conflict" between Lou and Arnold was made only for Pumping Iron. other things like Waller's hiding Katz's t-shirt are only parts of a plot :)
i was a huge fan of the hulk tv series and you it you were an inspiration for bodybuilding i once finshed 6th teenage new jersey although inever became a bodybuilding star im 44 and close to the best shape of my life and made the fall 2006 issue of reps magazine -im glad i never quit bodybuiding-anyway i met u in person at anight of champions beacon thatre around 1982 in the lobby u and frank zane are my favorites more than great people or bodybuilders most importantly you are both nice guys!
Lou, I´m from Brazil and We loved the tv serie The Incredible Hulk and i was so happy to see you again in the big screen in 2008 and I´m waiting for more in I LOVE YOU, MAN!!!
You are wonderful person and your life inspires so many people around the world
I hope you enjoy your life and God bless you, bless your family and your job
PS Hey Lou, If you are reading these and responding I have a question. Why on earth did they make the new Hulk Movies CGI? How come you didnt star as the Hulk? You were in GREAT shape in 70's but are in way better shape now. How about comming back to Tv as the Hulk...now that would ROCK!!!
I remember seeing you in Toronto when I was a kid in 1980. I was going to choose either music or body building. I didnt have the guts to do what you do so I chose music. I saw Miles Davis (another hero of mine) and chose to be a professional trumpet player. You are truly inspiring and to this day I still think of your mind set and do what I have to do. I just wish that Universal would have made you the Hulk again instead of going to fake CGI, but thats another story LOL. You Rock Lou!!!!
Lou, you are a role model to me. Name is Jared. I saw pumping iron a few years ago and saw what was a skinny, ridiculed child with black horned rimmed glasses transform himself into something more than a Contender. I wish the character counter did not limit me for the praise I have for you. I do hope to join you for a workout next year and meet the man who inspired me to start training seriously. I'm with you on a moral of confidence.
