This funding, which was extended in 2008, has so far enabled over 7,000 students & teachers to be part of this invaluable experience."

  • This is a video of British Prime Minister Gordon Brown visiting Auschwitz-Birkenau Nazi concentration & death camp, in Poland.

    In a emotional visit, a visibly moved Prime Minsiter toured the camp with his wife Sarah at his side, where they laid a wreath in the memory of the lives lost.

    The combined camps of Auschwitz & Birkenau saw the biggest loss of life in the Second World War, with hundreds of thousands of prisoners, the majority Jewish, killed in gas chambers between 1940 & 1945.
