  • Oh hey! Have you tried - fast abs magic (should be on google have a look)? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my BF got hot Six pack abs and lost crazy amounts of fat with it.

  • I want to lose 15 more pounds do you think doing this and eating healthy would help to lose the weight quick?

  • I don't get it. It's a circuit training, so after you did these 6 exercises, you rest and do them again? How many sets?

  • used to do a similar warmup for muay thai class and it works great

  • wait beginner push ups should be like 30

  • /watch?v=YFew0-HIPJE we can watch? i'm brazilian. :D

  • i did some ciruit on Thursday in karate.15 stations i had to do. it was fun!

  • Where's the other half of the workout? you didn't touch the lats or biceps at all.

  • @aj66289

The idea of interval circuit training is to burn calories not build muscle. By doing the pushups (for upper) and squating movements (for lower) hes got his whole body working and burning calories. doing bicep exercises and lat exercises aren't gonna fatigue you and burn shitloads of calories. hope this clarifies things :)

  • @ShamW00H00

Well seeing as how the lats are at least twice the size of the pecs, working them would burn much more calories over time(pullup>pushup). Also, if you are just going for a calorie burn and don't care about muscle at all, then just go running. That's twice as effective as pushups.

  • @aj66289

Good points you made there and yeh you're right. But the whole idea of this cirucuit workout is to give people an option instead of plain old running. Even HIIT running gets boring and really hammers your legs. It all comes down preference at the end of the day. As for the pullups; that requires equipment (pull up bar or pull up machines). With this workout you need no equipment at all can do it at home or at the gym and still burn loads of calories. Circuit interval Training FTW :)

  • Shouldn't your body be a little sore the next day? Your suppose to push your self Right?

  • hey i was wondering, ive seen a lot of full body workouts, in something like 4 minutes, so 4 exercises, a minute each, rest for 30 then complete 3-4 times, and thats it. but is that enough on its own for the day? or should i be looking to do something else with it?

  • maybe it would be a good idea if you told us how much rest time in between we should get?

  • my body hurt ... and and i thiught my heart would explode

  • this is great, i'm away from home and so have no equipment with me but this will help. thanks!

  • The point of moving from one muscle group to the next it to create muscle confusion. You'll get more out of the workout.

  • will do that right away

  • is this the same as circuit training?

  • look at the title

  • nope

  • you have been an inspiration and also a very good source of info for my own workouts. thanks!

  • Nice insight on interval training and a very good combination for a home workout routine.

  • if you really want to lose weight and build muscle go to: combatingfat.blogspot, com

  • i heard ab workouts like sit ups and crunches doesnt actually burn fat it jus builds muscle.. and wtf are kettlebells? im not that informed with all the workout equips sooo xD

  • Rather than some random like me who's fairly knowledgeable but not expect filling you in, do what the world does and google your arse off!!! It works:)

  • i realize your post is over 6 months old and you prob dont care anymore..... BUT....

youre right ab workouts DO NOT burn belly fat.... there is no such thing as spot reduction in the body... unless youre talking about liposuction. the body burns fat evenly from everywhere, we just notice it more from the belly cause thats where most of our fat is stored.

kettlebells are god's gift to the fitness junkie.. the best tool for cardio, stamina, explosiveness, strength gains.. whatever you want

  • yep +1 on the kettlebells...they cover everything

  • @fatsackofchron ur on the right track, but we do not burn fat evenly throughout the body. the enzymes responsible for fat storage work at different rates through out the body. this is the reason men are at higher risk for upper boy obesity while women are at a greater risk for lower body obesity. as far as belly fat goes, yes you can not target belly fat, but as you are burning fat through excercise, the amount of fat reduction from different body parts will differ.

  • @fatsackofchron Ah man. Must I purchase kettle bells AS WELL?! :L

  • It may not be the most challenging workout Ballantyne's posted but don't slag him too much. Have you seen the man? He is the "perfect model of a man" in most people's eyes! Thank god my Girlfriend disagrees - I wouldn't be looking so good lol. Also if you follow his Twitter and RSS feeds he clearly knows what he is doing. IN SAYING ALL OF THIS THOUGH. I am still a fan of long distance running etc. But I understand his philosophy on such cardio as well.

  • Sniperboy102- you can do these 3-4 times a week.

  • just do the spartan workout, this is good but the other is harder.(way harder)

  • Will this seriously burn fats like High intensity interval training?

  • Yes, somewhat but try the spartan workout, 30 reps for each exersise and a total of 300 reps in all, its what got me a six pack.

  • Ah ok thanks.

  • Do all 6 in a row? and then thats it? or...

  • do all 6 in a row rest 30 or 60 seconds and do it all again another 3 times.. so a total of 4 sets.

or do all 6 in a row, no rest and do 4 sets.

  • Will this seriously burn fats like Hiit ?

  • I dont think this particualar circuit will. It is good but if your looking for fat burning I would do something more intense.

youtube and google "ross boxing" or "ross training"

  • Thanks for posting this, going to give it a shot.

  • do these every day or every other day?

  • everyday
