Ice Bomb deals the most damage possible on a 1st turn doing 250 maximum. But can sometimes do much much less (sometimes as little as 5 damage!)

Shock Bomb can does 80 damage when placed perfectly next to - or above an opponent (otherwise it will do less). It sinks your opponent on the same turn as dealing damage providing there is nothing blocking their path to the water.

I once killed an entire team using den over their hole with Ice Bomb on my 2nd turn (3 x 250 hp)

If your wondering how all 3 of them ended up in the same hole, my team quit on me and only I was left - my opponents were noobs who thought it would somehow be a good idea to all teleport into the hole underneath my den.

Only problem being you don't have BFTP in your book.

As for weaknesses, it has got no attacks from far away (like deluge, fire arrows).

Also, what's the point of snowball if you already have pebbles for towers? Could it be replaced with bfp or brine bolt? If yes, which one is best?

Sorry to have to annoy you with all these questions lol, but I really want to improve with this book (or possibly improve this book)

Attacking from afar is not necessary and is definitely not a weakness. Using spells such as flash etc you can reach your enemy in 2 turns or less from any point on the map.

BFTP (Blast from the past) isn't necessary either as the whole point of this book is that it is reliable when it comes to spell usage - in this case most spells are rechargeable, where other books might run out after the first couple of turns.

Snowball recovers ice tower the same time as damaging the enemy or their tower.

Thanks for showing your interest in my videos. It is great to know my spellbook is being put to good use by you and other players in the Arcanists community.

I made these videos with the intention of sharing my knowledge of the game, and helping people get further without cheating (like so many others have done).

This was the spellbook which got me from roughly 2200 rating to 3210 which I have today. The reason this book is so brilliant is it has many different tactics.

I wont make a video instructing how to use this book, simply put - because there is NO right way to use ANY book.

It all depends on what tactics your opponent brings to the table and that tells you how you should proceed. What I will say is this book great because it is balanced in both attack and defense and unlike most other books has no weaknesses.

Blast from the past is used for knocking fliers and untrapping yourself.

Clock Tower is a rechargeable tower which only takes up one space in your spell list.

Its hard to substitute any spells from this book because each spell compliments the others.

However if you don't have them I suppose I would say replace:

BFTP with Aura

Clock Tower with Pegasus

Pegasus takes one spell slot and is good for recovering hp protection wise and its drainable.

Aura can turn enemies minions undead.

I've never heard of pebble shot being able to trap, but I would definitely like to see that.

This isn't really good, without any tower that heals, clock tower is useless, people usally one hit it. And snowball i find useless to, it does low damage and the snow annoys me. Maelsrom is also kind of useless, people usally dont stay low enough on the field to get hurt badly by it, and they can easily tele away. Rest is something i use myself (2798 rating).

You have your own opinion and im sure other people have theirs too. Having two rechargeable towers immediately gives you a big advantage, as it prevents you from dying quicker. A healing tower like light, or den are useless when somebody uses snowball on it and destroys is in one turn. There goes your "one use" tower... gone to an amazing 100 damage dealing snowball attack. Maelstrom can sink someone in the 1st turn it is used, if you know how to use it properly...

My spellbook is the following:

Arcane Gate, Mud Ball, Mega Boulder Shockbomb, Summon storm spirit

Flight, Ice Shards, Ice arrow, Snowball

Ice shield, Ice tower, Comet, Protection Shield, Skyray, Deluge

What can I change to make it better? Or should I just stick to your spellbook?

I used to use a similar spellbook, until I found better one to use, and that better book eventually turned into this video that you see before you.

You cannot regain health, as you do not have drain or heal.

You have only one light attack per 5 turns, not enough to kill even the easiest of liches.

One tower is always a bad idea, especially if the other person is like most people, and carries Pebble Shot.

There are more reasons, but that is enough.

Summon "flight minion" in a safe place (under a tree for example). Next place your minion on the far edge next to the blocking tree. Carefully walk on to your minion, lower the minion slowly. You can do this right to the bottom. Then flight, ice shield and tower on the ice.

You can now use either a well aimed shock bomb, or more preferably "brine bolt" followed by "drain".

Note: BFTP technique is simply, aiming for the weak spot in the tree, making the hole then towering inside it.

I created this spellbook mainly for use on my favorite level, Grassy Hills... but that doesn't mean it cannot be used on other levels.

There are other books I could recommend depending on different tactics or spells used by your opponent. However, much relies on your own experience and how you handle different strategies.

Also, I don't mind admitting there are better books for other levels, again much depends on the game rules and your opponent - use spells that you feel comfortable with.

During your sessions, did you actually play grassy hills each time? If so, how did you manage being flashed/shocked in water and still win since I would say that first turn on grassy hills is winner (if both players are good)?

The best place to teleport after being flashed is 1/3 of the way down any tree. If you do this the only option you leave your opponent with is to try and trap next to you.

Then all you have to do is use "blast from the past" to move them aside, or make yourself a hole. Then tower.

Once in tower, you have regained your defence and are able to carry on fighting.

People who say there is NO WAY to get to people who teleport down low on grassy.

THERE IS A WAY is attack them. In fact THERE ARE TWO.

You can either "blast from the past" down and then tower inside the hole which gets you down there on your next turn.

or

You can summon flight minion in a safe place, and then ride it down the side walls to the bottom, which also gets you down there next turn.

They only thing wrong with this book is that there are no aerial spells... its pretty good besides that, but if some1 teles in the left or right side of grassy, then u need to wait to get flight back. Thats the other drawback.
