  • No matter how many times I hear Amen breaks, I can never get tired of hearing them

  • the most underated Jungle tune ever! Big up Dj Clockwork and the Scruless MC from Eruption FM, who played this back in 95

  • this is my antie x

  • Experiment....The sub-bass/ deep 808 will shake dust from concrete.

I used to have this track on a 10" vinyl so trust me when I say my neighbours hate SUB-BASS!! Good Times #FTW

  • This is my favorite track of all time ... The best music! The best of all!

  • doesn't this just make you wanna love?

  • That intro is so smooth. I could have just listened to that for 6 minutes and been content.

  • [shudder] ... still overwhelms me 15 years later. Incredible.

  • Jesus... this song is amazing, the old school drum'n'bass are the best ones aways.

  • @Fardoreza true say there my friend

  • Call me strange, but I think Jungle is not the same as Drum 'n Bass. Neither is it a sub-catagory. It is a feeling, in both accoustic and electronic music. It represents a groove with ever-switching rhythms and surprising changes of direction.

Also, sampling a bar or two of jungle and repeating it at length does not make a jungle track. The chances are it is still repetative drum 'n bass.

This track is a typically Omni-Trio brand of jungle.

It just happens to mix well into modern DnB sets.

  • i'll go along with that (may i quote you)

  • Of course. It's the best I can do with a 500 charachtor limit.

  • true!

  • Epic.

  • Amazing Piece*

  • haha always listening to similar tunes- good to see you around

  • chilled tune brings back good memories

  • This tune brings back so many memories.

  • ohhhhhhhhhhh so fucking niceeee

  • My Daiss Drum n Bass reet to the very enddd !!!!!! What an absolute tuneeee.

    Bea fucking utifull.

  • 2:45 = goosebumps

  • 2:54 ? :)

  • wasnt the move to the dnb name just a trend to move away from jungle which still associated with the rave scene which magazines like mixmag had a major problem with as it wasnt trendy enough?

  • "...At this time jungle began to be associated with criminals and criminal activity and perhaps as a reaction or perhaps independently of this, producers began to draw away from the ragga style and create what they labeled drum and bass."

    ..from Wikipedia

  • Fair comment...

But in some ways I doubt this. Yes in the London clubs especially, the ragga end of things got a reputation which labels such as good looking etc didnt need or want but I dont think the rest of the country was especially affected...

Fairly irrelevant really when in perspective as a good jungle tune would still rock the place

  • @DRUMMZER .. deffo right there mate i remember the dungeons and the sunday roast, jungle at its best but before the gun toting wankers and muppet bad boys killed it off

  • @DRUMMZER as I recall it,.......everyone was running away from what was a sound that increasingly was pulling in the wrong elements. Nothing to do with race/religion or creed, just the antithesis to the party culture that we enjoyed. We wanted fun, not fools after trouble. NIce one!!

  • @xmikerx666

pretty much (all of it was just 'hardcore' at the start). most of the reggae vibe in jungle was lost though

  • Your not going to shut down the inbred jungle vs dnb arguement are you?

Ive been promoting, producing and djing for over a decade.

Jungle and DnB are the same, sure there are genres like jump up, liquid, ragga, but its all the same.

acid progressed to breakbeat hardcore which progressed to the offshoots of jungle and hardcore (whether happy from UK or harder from Holland)

    Learn your shit.

  • I've been djing this music for the better part of a decade, everyone else has moved on to jungle (like Noizia, Pendulum shit).

I'll never stop dropping old skool.

  • What do you mean theyve moved onto jungle? Jungle came before drum and bass and Noizia and Pendulum certainly aint jungle!! This track is jungle anyway!

  • one of my aLL time faves....

  • Absolutely toe curling...heard a mix of this for the first time at the 94 new years eve pleasure forest party in Toronto

  • anyone got the original?

  • Absolutely dope tune. My favourite bit on Moving Shadow by far, best label in the history of jungle bar Metalheadz

  • wasnt this on freaky flows tits album?

  • Wow, got this on vinyl. A definate hairs on back of neck Moment. The best intro then Turn this up and wait for the drop!!

  • I remember this well, a definate classic.

  • the last time i heard this track is before the moving shadow copyright claim :)

  • weird how a company that went under 7 years ago is making copyright claims isn't it?
