McCain on Eliminating Earmarks

Earmarks are good because they:

-address miscellaneous items and projects that the general budget did not address

-can create jobs

and

-improve infastruce, agencies and many other items.

I think its hilarious how McCain wants to focus his campaign on earmarks and pork barrel spending as a way to cure the financial crisis...earmarks make up a tiny portion of what we spend...WE ARE SPENDING 130+ BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR IN IRAQ!...McCain will keep this war going for YEARS...sinking more and more money into that country...Iraq is a major reason why we have seen so much wealth leave the U.S...Earmarks are barely an issue and McCain mentions them in every damn speech.
