  • That's correct it is vapor. The gas can't be seen unless in a bubbler. I had a dual unit that was doing 2.3lpm at 25 amps. Huge draw and never installed it in the car. Just way too much on the alterntor. Looking back at that it was a start at very very low output but as you said I did make huge progress but never applied it to the vehicle since I had to sell it. Best of luck on your testing. I started it to prove a friend wrong... Guess what?? It does work!!!! I was wrong.

  • @3:35 what your seeing is "water vapor" You can't see the gas. I"ll have to watch this vid a little closer at a later time. Looks like your making some progress.

Although it is an old vid. Have you made progress?

  • Do you pump regular or premium?

  • Very good video I'm debating doing an hho on my 09 matrix S. Have any advice?

  • I found a EFIE controller like yours online, but im lost on which sensor to hook it up to? To which sensor did you hook up yours to? Please let me know. Thanks

  • what about about 1 liter HHO injected and no EFIE ...

I mean ... 333 CC of Oxygen in a minute is not a lot IMO ...

  • Hey Dogchow44, how many milliliters per minute of HHO are you making with those 2 jars? I am curious how much production is needed to make a difference on a 4-cylinder

  • Hi! i would appreciate some feed back on my system. I have 2 spiral units in glass ball jars. I have it running on a toggle switch inside my Chevy blazer. i'm using baking soda @ a quarter of a teaspoon per jar, with distilled water. I dont want to create too much heat because, then the water will evaporate quickly. I have used stainless steel washers before instead of the spiral units. but i thought i could produce more hydrogen. Ive also tried sodium hydroxide at one teaspoon per jar. Thanks

  • Sodium Hydroxide You can get it at Lowes. It's called Roebic drain cleaner. Be careful if you've not done any of this before. You can get hurt badly. Read the fourms read read read

  • my 2003 matrix gets 28 to 32 mpg i got the automatic ,with over drive. what other mods have you made? ps love the scan gage where you get it?

  • I've done nothing other than what you see. Keep in mind you need all of the components to work. MAP enhancer, cell, scan gauge helps with watching the fuel flow as you adjust it down and some relays. Dry cells are the best at this time. You might want to look into all of the forums and see what everyone else is doing. This is how I came up with it. I actually have the bottles if you're interested. I've had to sell the matrix since losing the job. Scangauge II can be purchased on ebay...

  • The reason car companies dont use this yet is because we dont want exploding cars. If this system( granted that its not with glass jars but high strength plastic) was in some type of high strength fuel cell located somewhere safe like the trunk or something with shocks and springs on the sides for shock absorbtion if their was a crash per say, then we would use it. It would be a little while and a few hundred tests later before we use it in the majority of our vehicles.

  • its ALL FAKE guys.....if this was true every car company would put one on their cars.....geez!

  • That's exactly what I thought. See I used to be an idiot like you but I put my $ where my mouth is. I tried it to prove it wrong. Guess what. It works!!! To Know and Not To Do is Not To Know. Proven by the idiot below. Show us what you've done? Which car company do (did) you own?? Go tell all the hho forums it's a fake and see how that goes over....or better yet call Arnold Swtzr up and let him have it since he bought a custom sports car with an hho system in it. Do your homework!

  • I haven't tried this but im about to: why not put a homemade gasoline vaporizer and vaporize gas instead of hydrogen? Remember, liquid fuel does not burn, vapors do. Its basically the same process, vapors will go into your intake via air vacuum, like aquarium bubbles. u should same 50% on gas, u just have to find a way to heat it for easy vprization

  • WOW! I hope your wife is good at sewing. Those glass jars will cut meat real good when they go BANG!

  • @noelsingletary . Hey, those jars aren't storing much Hydrogen. The engine vacuum keeps fresh air circulating through.

  • How has your mileage been since installing your setup. I've been racking my brain and came close today to throwing the crap out. Have you noticed any pinging with your valves when you turn up the map resistance?

  • The mileage has been the exact same. I move the pots to different positons for highway and city. I have a switch that I flip between after all is up to temperature. If I kill the hho the pinging is very bad when on the maf but when I get the hho going no problems at all. Kind of found the sweet spot for both types of driving so no real need to tune that any more. Hang in there. I've been incredibly frustrated as well but I needed to find out the unknown and that was fun but frustrating.

  • have you calculated your MPGs with trip mileage and gallons of gas pumped in?? Just because you flip that switch for the MAP sensor, does not mean you are getting that mileage. Same goes for you gallons per hour. DO NOT take this as comming down on you. I made the same mistake when I first saw the same thing that you are seeing right now. You will ruin your engine! It takes a few fillups (use at least 1/2 of a tank) to calibrate scangauge where ever you have your settings....

  • if you change your settings, scangauge will be inaccurate. Keep tinkering. I have a lot of work to do with my setup yet. It will get fustrating, especially with people who are critical without being constructive. I hope I come accross constructive. any q's you have I'll try to help. HHOForums is a good place to go. Good luck and keep at it.

  • Thanks for the comments. You are absolutely right. I have a commute of 150mi round trip on all highway so my calculations are checked first with the odometer and gallons / fillup then compared to the scanscangauge. These are known to be incorrect but I've got mine very close. I always check the hard calculation with the digital but only report the hard calcs (odometer). Also am a member on HHO forums for past 2 yrs. Thanks for the input.

  • Now all you need is a Constant Current PWM to keep your cells from overheating.

  • I've got a PWM coming. It's a remote unit with the main board and sink under the hood. Cooled by a fan. Actually using a dry cell unit. The vid one was the first setup. Great Set Up!!! Highly recommended. Dry Cell that is.

  • Very unscientific test. You are concentrating on just GPH but the RPM's dropped from 907 to 621 so of course the GPH dropped. At highway speeds RPM's will always be much higher. Not a good test at all.

  • Nice little video. Thankyou for introducing me to the scangauge. My son and I will be working on his 6th grade science project and will be using HHO technology as the center of the project, obviously the scangauge will make our data work much easier.

  • Hey Not a problem. I actually stumbled onto it in one of the hho forums. I found it to be a great tool for anyone who has installed an hho system and wants to see actuall gains in real time. Great piece. Best of luck with the project.

  • Great Video and u - r - a great teacher. Can you tell me where to get a scangauge like that one?

  • Hey Thanks for the input. The scangauges are GREAT!! I think everyone who has a cell installed should use these. I think the best deal was at amazon but also available on ebay and you can google shop it for the best price. They're listed as scangaugeII. Thanks again...........Pat

  • Hey Thanks for the kind words. Standby for the spring when the new gen is installed. Should be interesting. Have a nice New Year!!!

  • DUDE YOU DID A FANTASTIC JOB_KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, TATER WAYNE P.s. HAPPY NEW YEAR

  • is it possible for you to stop the hydrogen cells and just adjust the MAF to see if its the maf adjustments that are increasing the mileage and not the hydrogen cells.

  • Yep You can cut the cells and due to the lack of combustable gases the car will die. So it does work. All part of the testig.

  • I tried to search for the MAF enhancer seller but there was nothing on ebay.

  • I've heard if you lean it out too far the results could be catastrophic to the motor. I have an 06 xr myself and am really interested in your setup. Without any enhancement I get 35 mpg right now. What was your starting Mileage?

  • You can damage the engine only over time though. Right now it'll just buck and die. You need to get the ratio right. You learn where to dial it to. My before mpg was 36. It does work.

  • awesome, so the hydrogen is somehow mixed with the gas and combusted? Or the electricity is used? How much water does it go through? What's the mixture of water - what electrolyte is used? I think the electric water-running car is coming up in the future maybe, or perhaps some kind of safe nuclear who knows...

  • Thanks for the comments. Yes the hho is mixed with the air/fuel. Electric is used for the electrolosys that creates the hho. Doesn't go thru much water at all. Not too sure of the nuclear though. They're having challenges with hydrogen due to it's a driving bomb. Terrorists would love this as well as a dirty bomb nuclear car. Probably not going to happen.

  • Nice video!... Great job! Scan Gauge is really cool to have, makes the job a lot easier.

  • Thanks for the comments!! Do appreciate it. Standby I've got a few more cells that I'm benching right now and will install in the spring. Should be interesting since they're doing 4 times the volume of what you saw. One is a dry and the other is a dual full bath.

  • thanks for the quick response. I forgot to mention I got the scangauge after the first time I viewed your video. It's been pretty accurate. I will wait for the MAF (I forgot to mention you when I ordered last night, it was about 12:30 EST and I was not thinking right). I guess the reason I didn't order it first was that someone mentioned that toyota's used frequency instead of volts for the MAF sensor. Up to now, I'm only getting 10-12% increase with the EFIE and 1 lpm smacksbooster. will update

  • I'm back looking at your video again. Since I posted the last time, I got an EFIE to help out with the mileage. I'm still not at your level in mpg. Now I'm considering getting a MAF sensor. The only other thing I have not done is tee it into the pcv line. I was told that line would create a lot of pressure at idle and that's not what you want. Have you had any recent problems with it? Thanks

  • Thanks for comming back. You're on the right track. Actually the MAF is the most important followed by the EFIE. Teeing into the pcv is not necessary. It only works at idle and at low rpms. I wanted all induction covered but again it's not necessary. I've read that more hho is produced under a vacuum? I've not tested this theory. Get your MAF and Scangauge II. You wont be sorry. Go to ebay and look up hho_enhancers and mention me. You may get a discount. He also posted this vid. Thx!

  • very cool, I too have made increase with hho, but do you have any safety device on your cells?

If not plz be careful with the glass jars - one explosion and you have a very deadly combination.

BTW that scanguage is pretty cool.

    Keep up the good work.

    :)

  • Why don't you turn the dials to "lean" farther?

  • Good question. I'm not producing enough hho to further cut my gas out. You will find the right position when the car starts to choke. So the more hho you dump in the more gas you can cut out (Dialing it leaner). At that time any further and the car would die. That's producing under 1 lpm. I've got a 4+er' on the bench and I will install it shortly. Those dials will then move further. Standby for the video proof.

  • Since your are "leaning" your vehicle out to the brink of dying, do you notice a loss of power, or does the hydrogen actually make up for that loss?

  • You don't notice the power loss until you step on it. That's when I switch to the city position and it runs fine with the hho. You do get a boost if you don't dial (lean) it out. You actually do need both the EFIE and MAF Enhancer. The MAF intercepts the siginal from the mass air flow sensor which tells the computer to richen the mixture (increase voltage) so you can dial the voltage reporting to the computer. The EFIE does the same but with the O2 sensor. SEE NEXT POSTING.....

  • Also, i forgot to mention in my first reply. Since you have that map enhancer, does that mean you do not need an EFIE? And vice versa; if you have an EFIE enhancer, do you then not need a map enhancer? It seems to me they both sort of operate in the same manner, which is control how much gas is being used. I see you have used O2 extenders, why is that necessary if you have a map enhancer?

    Thanks, i appreciate your replies

  • The O2 sensor sences rich and lean tendencies of the exhaust. Since you're running lean the O2 can detect that over the MAF and automatically richen the mixture so again you need to intercept the voltage from the sensor and dial the correct voltage and send it to the computer. You're tricking the computer into thinking all is OK of which you are replacing a portion of your gas with hho. I don't have an EFIE yet but moved the sensor out of the stream. Works fine. I ocasionally get a CEL

  • What is a "CEL"?

Where did you splice into the MAF wire? Can you show us in another video? I have an HHO system installed in my 2006 Pontiac Vibe automatic which is bascialy the same car as yours and I stopped my install after learning it has a wide band O2 sensor and no one had invented a controller for it as of last August. Did you use O2 sensor spacers?

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • A CEL stands for Check Engine Light. I can clear it on the fly with the scangauge. The wire tapped into is the Green on the MAF sensor on top of the intake at the air filter. Cut and run it to the MAF Enhancer and back ot the line to the other side of the cut green line. It's simple. I used 2 antifouler extenders and got approx. 4 more mpg. The sensor at the exhaust manifold is an AFR not O2. Only 1 O2 sensor. It's pre cat. Hope that helps

  • Did you use the 2 antifowler extenders together on the O2 or AFR, or one on each of the AFR and O2? Have you installed an EFIE yet?

  • Used 2 antifoulers on the O2 to move it out of the stream and wrapped the AFR with foil (don't know if that did anything??). No EFIE yet Just a MAF enhancer.

  • Hello, i need to know how many wires are on your MAF sensor and which one did you cut? Thanks so much. Did you try to find any extra fittings so this can be plug and play? i have an 09 corolla and dont really want to cut. i am currently getting 49mpg with just HHO adding the MAF enhancer this weekend. Thanks

  • I have 5 wires and for the 06-07 the green was the one. I actually soldered them and you do have to breach the wire to intercept the siginal and dial and send it back to the computer. You can't avoid this. You need to get a schematic of the 09 and double check. Reading the engineers diagrams can be a challenge as you might have to refer to different diagrams. You can use your voltmeter with the point and press into each while some reves the engine. The right one will fluctuate voltage revng

  • HI, Please tell me how many miles you have drove before refueling. If you are getting 51.24 mpg. then after 102 miles of driving you should have refueled only 2 gallons. Is this info accurate? if so, what city do you stay in. I would appreciate your help to get my 2007 honda accord hybrid up on mpg. a quick response is most apprectiated.

  • Hi All I've been getting many questons about the MAF enhancer. These are made by hho_enhancers on Ebay. I highly recommend them as they quickly answer any ? you may have. Shipping is very quick as well. Many others on ebay don't even bother getting back. This item has been working flawlessly without any challenges whatsoever. Go on ebay and do a member search for hho_enhancers. You wont be sorry Tell them chidadog sent you. Maybe he'll give you a better deal?

  • Can you tell me where you installed the MAF enhancer and scanner to and where you got them. Thanks. I have a matrix

  • since your not using a bubbler... have you ever had a flash back explosion... or maybe too small to detect because of the vacuum pressure

    thanks!

  • So far NO Flashback. There is an incredible vacuum though. I was told no backfires on fuel injected vehicles?? I have checked it out other than the posting below. Haven't had any problem at all. I'll be installing another shortly which should produce far more hho of which I will put a bubbler on it...just for safety. Thanks

  • I am planning the same... do you think the vacuum will suck water directly from the bubbler ... or you think gas will just be sucked and no liquid?

    thanks

  • Nice video. Did you say you TEED your gas output to the pcv valve hose? I've got a similar engine (corolla) and have not gained as much as you have, I'm waiting on my maf/o2 sensor. Did I hear you say that the O2 sensor didn't work for you? Thanks for the video.

  • Thanks for the comments and suggestions. I've currently hit 55.85MPG using an O2 extender on the one precat!!!. MAF Enhancer is from hho_enhancers on ebay. Look them up. Any other comments or suggestions please keep them comming. Do appreciate it.....

  • Bubblers are not needed in a fuel injected car. No back fire to the intake like a carb does. Also may use bubbler or condenser if you use an electrolyte. Aluminum engine parts and NaOH/KOH don't work well together.

  • Glad to see you got it working so well! I'm the guy you got that EnhancerPlus from. Looking good!

  • nice job at least you didn't blow yourself up

  • Wow, a legitimate video showing the results in MPG gain, that is rare. Most people just have videos showing their set-up and tell you nothing about their results.

  • ....And a bubbler is absolutely essential as well.

    Take care.

  • I commend you for your efforts, but please replace the glass.

  • I like everything about your system "except" the glass jars part. (no lecture, I promise)

Which MAF/MAP tool do you have there?

  • Thanks for joining YT to show us videos of your work! Can you please make a video on how to construct an HHO cell sometime?
