I also listen to it when I'm upset. It makes me cry and it rids the sadness from my soul.
I listen to this and the whails of the woman remind me of crying. I keep remembering my dog, who was a beloved pet, who died a few weeks ago. It makes me cry everytime I hear it.
The introduction of the soft and beautiful piano with the womans singing brings the time when I cry the most.
This song brings great comfort and remembrance to me.
i become dazed and confused by this sound? the 'aaahhaaa', is divine but cant make out the lyrics? something about 'i see, i ...?', can anyone elaborate?
Ok ok so my friend Mikey and I were debating about thatsince 94-95 and still have no idea if its "I see...I know all..." or if it's "I see... I hear all" or "I see... I ignore"...?

I don't think it's an age thing. If it would be, it's in reverse, where someone evolves musically into this type of music. Many stay stuck on the classics, while me and others kept on exploring, being rewarded by great tracks as this one.
Young folks hate it when old farts like me say this kind of thing, but unless you heard this through a massive sound system at sunrise on two white doves, you'll never really understand... had to be there.
Check out the remix on " The Rebirth of Cool 4 Most " (if you can find it...) " They Came in Peace" is another of Mike Kandel's seminal tracks from the 90's
if you like this listen to Bonobo!

I want to know who's voice it is because it's amazing. This song has been around since the early to mid 1990s.

@untomatchi . actually that is NOT the correct translation. It's in Spanish and it means
oh yes (ay si)
oh no (ay no)
you can tell just by her accent.
I know - I am fluent in Spanish!
