Whatever Joe said, or did, during August of 1977 and afterward he did for a reason. Joe is a very good man who was dealing with the untimely death of his employer...and his beloved friend. They say that when you die if one person remembers your name a few years later then you lived a good life. Elvis never died. He took a few years off to lose some weight, kick prescription drugs and rest. He resurfaced as an Elvis impersonator and was passable for looks and voice, but by then there were some really top notch Elvis impersonators. He faded away to retirement, has been seen in Palm Springs, usually middle of the night at supermarkets. He doesn't need to work(financially) but had tried a come back to just sing, which is what he loves.

Although legally he was declared dead at 3:30 pm on August 16th,1977 and Vernon Presley had the full complete private autopsy reports sealed until August 16th,2027 50 years after Elvis Presley's death, it was actually scientifically reported that he died just after 9 am in the morning. But also consider that his abuse of prescription pills worsened this condition. Muscle relaxers tend to relax ALL muscles, even the involuntary muscles that surround your intestines - they are the key to your digestion process. His hereditary condition mixed with heavy pill use is what killed him at 42 years old.

We may never know what state of mind Elvis was in the morning of the 16th. He refused to eat and took all his "attack" packets at once, instead of spreading them out over several hours. Whatever Joe said, or did, during August of 1977 and afterward he did for a reason. Joe is a very good man who was dealing with the untimely death of his employer...and his beloved friend. They say that when you die if one person remembers your name a few years later then you lived a good life. Joe's account to the Emergency Medical Services Ambulance Techs a few hours earlier was completely different from the account given here. What's somewhat disturbing about the lie is - Joe was in "troubleshoot mode" at that moment - in other words, he was chiefly concerned about concealing the ugliness of E's drug-induced cardiac arrhythmia.

Elvis never died. He took a few years off to lose some weight, kick prescription drugs and rest. He resurfaced as an Elvis impersonator and was passable for looks and voice, but by then there were some really top notch Elvis impersonators. He faded away to retirement, has been seen in Palm Springs, usually middle of the night at supermarkets. He doesn't need to work(financially) but had tried a come back to just sing, which is what he loves.

@OfficialRobbieMason. Joe probably said that in the beginning, so he wouldn't give fans the impression that he did nothing to try and save him. He couldn't do anything anyway Elvis was already dead. A nurse that Elvis spoke to on the phone earlier that day said it was obvious judging by his body when he arrived at the hospital that he had been dead for some time and that he had likely died early that morning, shortly after speaking with her. Only Elvis could have saved himself!!

Then, someone close to him (maybe Joe) pulled them up for him before paramedics ever arrived. Someone else was told to call the police from a phone near or in the bathroom. Although legally he was declared dead at 3:30 pm on August 16th,1977 and Vernon Presley had the full complete private autopsy reports sealed until August 16th,2027 50 years after Elvis Presley's death, it was actually scientifically reported that he died just after 9 am in the morning. He had played a game of hard rigorous Rachet ball up till 6:30 am in the morning. He received drugs from a Dentist visit the day before he had an allergic reaction too.

its funny that through the years even recently Joe changes his story soooo much I cant believe a damn thing he said. he said he gave mouth to mouth and then how could he when another time he said he couldnt open elvis's mouth and his tongue was bitten off from elvis clinching his teeth in his death from pain. its very very weird. all these people get mad at people who think elvis is alive but really they are to BLAME cause they can never give a straight damn answer!!

First tim ei ever seen this footage .... i never heard this reported before .. always he was found on the floor in the bathroom .. never on the bed ..... i also had never heard that charlie hodge was there before but this could be something i did not know .... strange but dont change the fact Elvis died on 16th August 77 and i know people can confuse a lot when in shock

The fact is the story keep changing and changing like the weather! Elvis either comitted suicide or is alive, that is the truth. There could be no other explanations for the who's, what's where's and how's! I don't know about anyone else, but if my son was a retired veteran I would not turn down the american flag! Elvis suffered from a hereditary condition called bowel paralysis, and the autopsy revealed his colon was 5" to 6" in diameter, compared to the usual 2" to 3" . In his colon they found stool which had been there for 4 or 5 mths because of the poor mobility of the bowel, it wasn't realized until the autopsy that his constipation was as bad as it was.

They lied becouse Elvis died on the toilet. Every aspect of Presleys life was controlled by those people. He had to ask for everything. He was being ripped off and exploited by many people. This should be a lesson to us all.

We may never know what state of mind Elvis was in the morning of the 16th. He refused to eat and took all his "attack" packets at once, instead of spreading them out over several hours. For someone who knew the PDR better than the doctors, he had to know it was the end when he ingested the last pill......let's not be naive.

It is quite obvious that Joe was very distressed and probably didn`t take it in what the reporter was saying correctly. It is known FACT that Elvis died in the bathroom right above the front door of Graceland. I know what he said but on other dvd`s he has said on numerous occasions that he died in the bathroom. Unless Linda Hood Sigmon is right and Elvis is still alive and living under the name Jese.

Lets not be absurd. Of course he didnt find him in 2 different places. Joe didnt want to tarnish the image by saying he was found on the comode or in the bathroom. But at the same time, it was not a lie to say that, because you have to go in the bedroom to enter that bathroom. It is part of the bedroom the same a suite. So he was saying he wasnt in the kitchen, or jungle room, or any other room. He was in the bedroom or which that bathroom was a part. Quit being so technicle and get a life!
