0:15 I don't remember the diesel being just behind Earl of Mount Edgcumbe? I was at Marylebone when it left & I thought the class 47 was at tge back? I'm confused now, could someone explain this puzzling thing. :o)
You weren't seeing things, the first two clips are of the empty stock being worked from Tyseley to Marylebone the evening before. If you read my accompanying notes it's all explained there.
An excellent and certainly very interesting amount of work made here. Pretty intense scenes with the Earl working very well. She sounds similar to a King being a double chimney Castle. The two actresses acting out an argument scene was a good laugh to watch! As always please keep 'em coming! :)
Fantastic fim! One thing that always amazes me about Stratford steam is that Network Rail allows the driver of the loco to propel trains of, 10 coaches in this case, out of the station at at least 10mph really! This is effectively driving blind, surely! He must not be able to see very far back up the train. Its a wonder they allow it! Mind you, its great to see it! Thanks for posting, really enjoyed it. 5*
Excellent work again guys. Much as I think a double chimney disfigures the lines of a Castle, you cannot argue with the improved blast which must have been ear shattering when reversing through Stratford station!
superb photography and the audio was just as good! You can feel the sound as well as hear that GWR 'bark'

A fantastic sequence. Looks like she needs some attention to the smokebox door though as it was pretty scorched by the time she got back.

I'm sure they have someone in the guard's van at the back with a radio.

Great vid Guys, but I would expect no less!
Nice to see the ECS and the light engine night shot as well. I did try to keep you out of my vid but using widescreen limits the options!!!
5* from me and hope to see you both out again soon.

I enjoyed it thank you. I really quite liked the last shot of it ambling through the station on its own in the dark illuminated by the sodium lights
