@rhiggins30 I think he had it long enough. Piper was so over that he didn't need a long reign as champion. A good three -four month reign to recognize what he did for WWF was long enough IMHO.

@JasonL77, nah, a 3-month reign is commonplace today. But back then, that was a very short reign for any champion(ship). Doesn't matter anyway, b/c Piper never needed a championship to recognize his contributions. The fans cheers did that.
