and doesn't it get better when the engine is on right temperature?
I started my rgv after standing still for repairs once and the whole neighbours backyard was covered in smoke, they didn't know what was happening to them :p
yeah it does get better when engine is up to temp, and also i replaced the 2 stroke oil with high quality stuff that also made it better, but it does still also let out more smoke when i hit the power valves.. but the bike runs fine and had no problems, i just feel sorry for who ever is behind me..
i replaced the old 2 stroke oil with top quality low smoke 2 stroke and re ajusted the oil pump then it seemed to make it smoke less but also i think the crank seals are on the way out so some oil from the bootom end my be getting into the barrel causing the smoke aswell....
could also be worn out piston rings. consider a rebuild after you try the easier things.
