  • That was greaat :)

  • very good Mr. Spencer

  • to the author:

Hi, i'm the late comer to realise this film.. however, I'm interested in the story of ur film bcos i'm looking for the mental problem's information to make my presentation done. could u pls tell me what inspired u to write this story? and, it's actually fiction or non-fiction? i need to know whether this is real or not, i found that this film is really good and i decided to attach in my presentation.

  • I love it when she just slowly slides down into the water and the way you end that part. I would have to say that was the best part.

  • this was good

  • I thought this was really wonderful.

  • Thanks, nice of you to say that ;)

  • the red color was so david-lynch! ;p but i loved the idea and performance! well done!

  • Yes, alot of inspiration came from Lynch to make this movie. Thanks you for the nice comment ;) Cheers.

  • nice..good work:)

  • Thanks ;)

  • a fucked up movie. noobs

  • Kjeeeeeeeeeeft.

  • what was this shot on? some really nice visuals in there good stuff!

  • This was shot using a Sony PD-150, but I also tweaked alot with the look of the film in post using a Magic Bullet plugin for Final Cut Pro. Thanks for the nice feedback!

  • hey guys, just found out tht this movie was on youtube, just to put u guys in the picture (no pun intended) who have commented on this movie, i played "derek" who was linda's husband. just wanted to say a big thanx to all the crew as had a great time working with them!

so guys if ur reading this, let me know when ur in glasgow again!!

    best wishes

    richy harmony

  • I am guessing this is a Glasgow School of Art production. Didn't find there to be a hell of a lot of point to this. Good special effects, but lack of plot, and it was nothing to do with not "getting" what the film meant. Just not up to scratch with some of the other independent movies I've seen out there.

  • You have right to your opinion. Thanks for the feedback ;)

  • fantastic, very well done mate!

  • Thank you ;)

  • you should so put this in film fest the ones ive been watching non are as good as this

  • Thank you so much for your positive response ;)

  • wow this is really well done

  • it was shot well

  • Thanks.

  • Hey. So how are you involved in this film? Where was it shot? Are you Scottish? Sorry, just asking. It's a really good film. It's shot fantastically.

  • I will send you a message with the answers.

  • wow this is really good! :D Would be great to see it in a movie theater or something! Grats!

  • Thanks man ;) I am glad you liked it.

  • I LOVE the Evil Dead series!

  • Yeah, I love it to. Bruce Campbell is hilarious. Sam Raimi is also a favorite director of mine.

  • This is brilliant! Beautiful. I teared up at the end. You really captured what it feels like.

  • Wow, you teared up? Thank you, that is a very nice compliment. Did you think it was sad?

  • Yes! I related with it. But that's not the only reason I thought it was sad. You did a great job!

  • Thank you Rhonda. I really appreciate your feedback. It is nice to hear that you could relate and got emotions by seeing it ;)

  • By the way. I really love the Evil Dead reference in there! "Give me some sugar baby." :D

  • Ha! So cool that you cathed that one! You are the first to mention that ;) You got to be a "real" fan to get that one. Awesome!

  • ummm i think um dumb... i dont get the movie someone help me out?

  • Dude,terrific job.

    I loved it!

    Great short film, great shots.

    OMGosh LOVED IT!

    It's officially in my favorites.

  • Thanks ;) I appreciate your feedback.

  • hauntingly beautiful

  • Thank you man ;-)

  • The begin had me going and I was enjoying it. The tripoded shots were terrific, but once you started handheld you lost me. And then you started flirting with danger with the canted angled shots...just a little tacky. I loved many of the shots in the aspects of cinematography. Done very well brother man.

  • I agree with you on everything you comment on. We switched to handheld in stressfull situations. I remember we where on this location, and had to be out of there in 30 minutes. So we switched to handheld to make it in time. I am not using this as an excuse however, because this is all my responsablity. I agree with you, thank you for your honest feedback audiovision. Cheers.

  • Really liked the production quality and cinematography, nice score and editing too. Script better than the average, but not quite unique enough and on occassion the acting didn't quite ring true. But I'm hyper-critical, so perhaps not the best judge of the average persons view.

  • Thank you for honest feedback. I agree with you on the points you make about the script and acting. I think the story is not the most original out there. Also sometimes the acting is not quite optimal, and I take all that under my responsability. I am however quite happy with the overall acting throughout the movie. And that is considering that the main girl had never acted before, and this was her first crack at it. Thank you for your comment.

  • Good stuff...

  • Thanks :)

  • That was an truly amazing film! Everything was put together so perfectly and professionally. As if you have had years and years of experience. I know a am a nobody, but I was super impressed. AWESOME JOB.

  • Thank you Zantar31 ;-)

  • Really liked the lighting, frame composition/cinematography in parts of the film. You filmed in killer unique places - the long/far away shots (or whatever you want to call them) are really well composited.

  • Hey thanks ;) I am very impressed with the cinematography myself. A guy in my class was DP on the project, and he really has a good eye for camera compositions.

  • well I absolutley loved it. I think its the best thing i have seen on youtube thus far. sorry for all the questions but one more, what did you use to mic it with, are they boom mics?

  • You don't need to apologize, I like answering questions ;) We used a boom mic that is pretty standard. I can't actually remember what type of mic it was. I think it is a Sannheizer or something. The mic we used is actually kinda crappy. But the guy that did the score also went over the sound and cleaned it up.

  • wow, now this looks like a production that involved a lot of people and work, what role did you play in making this and did you use a 24p film camera?

  • Hello Mrdibbs. Thanks for your interest ;) I was writer/director on the project. It took about one month from screenplay to finished film. We used a Sony PD-150 camera, but I used a software called Magic Bullet Suite in post production. The program makes your video look like 24p.

  • woah wut movie maker program did u use?! and where did u get the suspense music??!

  • I edited the film using Final Cut Pro software. I'm lucky to have a friend that works as a musician. He personally scored the whole picture.

  • Excellent film. I liked very much your photography. Waiting to see more of you.

  • Thank you ;) Glad you liked it.

  • DUDE LETS TALK film!!!

    WHATS YOUR aim!

  • That was an amazing film! Everything was put together so nicely and professionaly. I don't think I've ever seen such an organized and asthetically pleasing student film! Keep up the great work!

    -Melanie
