This is like Rescue on Fractalus on the 800, but without the aliens, the fog, or the landing. And I swear that Rescue on Fractalus has a greater draw distance.
You are aware there are other better looking 3D games on the Jaguar and Star Fox does not have better graphics. Cybermorph has much more going on with it technically. These are the early days of 3D engines, give the game a break. The only reason Star Fox appeals more to your eye is because of the art direction, not the graphics.
after taking a second look, yeah, the jaguar has much more horsepower than the superfx chip, but still, this game makes it look bad; i mean, they could have added some fog instead of just having the scenery "pop up" as you go forth
That's exactly the point; it IS 64-bit, but like the Intellevision, it was released a little before its time, 16-bit consoles were at their peak during its release, and 32-bit and 64-bit gaming consoles wouldn't be popular for another 2 years.
