what do you use when you shoot film (favorite camera / lens combo, brand etc etc etc). I am trying to start shooting in film (never have, all digital), primarily for my own personal work while I'll remain digital for my commercial projects.
If you're looking for a history of photography, watch the bbc series The Genius of Photography. It's one of best documentaries about photography I have ever seen. You can find it easily online.
It's SO refreshing to hear someone talk about aesthetics, motivation, 'seeing,' etc. for a change. (Instead of the usual blather about megapickles, HDR, software, L glass, and all the other crap you quite rightly label as 'distractions.')
5 minutes of such creative discussion would be nice. Over an hour is, frankly, amazing. Please keep up the good work!
At first i thought it was a bit boring, but i think that was only down to the first 20 mins or so being about what these shows will involve and so on.
And next episode when the boulder starts rolling then there shouldnt be a problem with you explaining what the show is about for 20 mins again.
Although i do think that there perhaps should be more use of the screen with pictures, and so on. As to be honest i minimised this page and just listened to the audio.
are you a robot? you speak to fast and to monoton and it is hard to follow your spreech.

Will you put up some notes perhaps listing the photographers you mentioned, if they have websites etc?
Great lesson on the non technical aspects of photography - which is what I struggle with the most. Thanks! looking forward to the rest.
