I got my puppy's UKC paper's in the mail recently & so I began to research them & found this. One of Vanilla's puppies, "Loaded Dice of Starr" is my puppy, Luna's ggrandfather - Vanilla being her great-grandmother! So awesome!!

It's amazing how very different their faces can be. Fox Vanilla Ice has the same beautiful features as our male Standard Eskimo, Casper. He's such a "Pretty Boy"!

I've got a german spitz (big size), it's not very common in my country, France. It looks exactly as an eskie. What's the difference?

its the same breed just a diffent country..the american eskimo was brought to the US by Gremans years ago to be on the farms and circus animals. the little ones would be put in the baby buggies to protect the babies from strangers and still protect childern today

I suggest calling them American Spitz. That's what my German American family called them forever-- Spitz.

They really shouldn't call these dogs Eskimo dogs. Eskimo is not politically correct. And these are derived from white German spitz.
