I favour Pacquiao because it's hard not to at this stage of his career by late stoppage or UD - he is capable of boxing Hattion to pieces. But wouldn't be surprised if Hatton wears Manny down with his strength and bodyshots on the inside and stops him late. If Hatton has his head movement, jab and stamina issues sorted and improved even better than from the Malignaggi fight and Manny's power doesn't faze him, it's going to be a very long (or short) night for the great man from the Phillipines.

I think Pacquiao will box Hatton's head off - unless Hatton uses a solid, consistent jab to back Manny up and at the same time uses good head movement and feints. He'll still catch some of those fast punchs though. If he can make it an inside brawl his strength and bodywork will wear Pacquiao down. If the fight stays outside he will be picked apart like he was against Mayweather.

Your right its lighter that means manny relies on his timing and accuracy in order to release the right amount of power. while hatton is hitting a stationary bag. no timing and he might get use to hitting a non moving object that aint pacman. his wasting his energy for nothing, and try to compare the edge of the gloves pacman hits right dead center while hatton hits just the side of the knucles no snap at all. we'll see come fight night pacman in 4 rounds

Hitting a bag that moves against your punch will most likely injure you more and creating more stress on your hands and wrist,so timing and accuracy is key , as with a stationary bag which does not take much skill and injuring yourself is minimal compared to a moving bag. Pacman has too much skill for Hatton and his accuracy in his punches are second to none.That's my two cents but i like both fighters good luck to both of them.

did you noticed the size of their gloves? pacman is using the training gloves which is heavier than the fight gloves. and look at hatton's gloves, i think he is using the fight gloves there. . . meaning pac really is faster than hatton come may 2. . . and, at this vid the two is at their desired weight on may 2. hatton 154lbs and pac is 147lbs on this vid. . .

Not neccessarily - the 'winning' make gloves that Pacquiao i think is training with are much bigger than the Cleto Reyes 'punchers' gloves I think Hatton is using. Plus Pacquiao is a bit shorter and slimmer than Hatton so they will look even bigger. I think perhaps Pacquiao trains with the winning gloves because they do have more padding so it reduces the chance of injury during training. It is quite possible therefore, that they are using the same weight of glove.
