ARKANOID is definitely a classical game! It created a new genre and opened a door to endless gameplay possibilities! Simple concept but very, very attractive!!

It's the keyboard, in the Spectrum version had a system to accelerate the pad movement when the ball was fast.

fuck you youre spoiled amiga was a 16-bit with alot of custom chips and at least 512k ram speccy was 48k 8-bit with even video handled w/o any sperate chip

lol..i thought this game was only for PCs. I had a spectrum for like 8 years, and this was my favourite game, but i always had to play it on my friends PC computer, and was sure there was no ZX spectrum version of it! anyway,, took me a year to get to last lvl 33? i believe, where there was a face spitting bricks.. good old days! thanks for psoting this video!
