I think you're wrong, if you only look for his songs and listen, he had done so many nice songs such as Somewhere Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World, Devil Woman and others.

I am not wrong.  His voice changed and his style of music changed, from the contender of the King of British Rock and Roll to the Prince of Pap music. Good try though.
