Makes me laugh after watching this video and then going to Westminster to see Vietnamese guys all tattooed up, with their hair slick back saying " Waddap foooooo du ma nikka". Really? I'm Vietnamese American, and have never been treated unfairly or badly due to my race. If people hate me, it's probably due to my personality. That goes the same for everyone in this world. Most minorities have the misconception that they are racially frowned upon, however that is not true. You are treated by the class that you act. In a way I am, I work for the Federal Government as an economist. But not really a politician. I tend to write the way I speak, like most people. I thank you for listening to what I have to say. It saddens me that the Vietnamese people of today are so misinformed. Especially the younger generations. They have so much going for them yet they've grown to become so ignorant and deceptive. I encourage all Vietnamese adults to take some time out of their life to teach and motivate the young people.

It has been awhile since the first Vietnamese people started arriving into the United States. Over 30+ years. It's sad to admit, but in many parts of the country, we are still considered as a minority. But unlike other immigrant groups that have arrived here prior. Mostly Latin Americans. We have established ourselves and build up to surpass the limit set by the other minor groups. I admire and look up to the people whom have made a difference. May we teach our young and prosper in the future.

I just really despise those aunts and uncles on my Vietnamese side of the family. Nothing's wrong with eating dried squid. And I have nothing on the culture. It's just that majority of Vietnamese people I encounter aren't the best of people. But then you know, they've come from a poor background, living off of what they grow and surviving from what they can steal off of each other when the viet congs came and took everything from them. I'm from Poland and all Vietnamese people I know are kind, friendly and hard working.
Poland and Vietnam came through the same tragedies: war and then communism but neither Poles nor Vietnamese lost their hope and smiles on their faces. I'm glad that many Vietnamese people could find their peaceful place to live in Poland. Greetings!

For example, when I was very young and was travelling with my grandmother, our bus got stopped at National Liberation Front (Vietcong) guerillas checkpoint. Knowing that I was the child of an army officer of the Republic of Vietnam, my grandmother told me to hide. I was TERRIFIED! These Communists were like bad wolves out there to devour little children.

Yes, you have a lot of reasons to be proud. Vietnamese had defeated ( French and U.S.) super powers in wars this century and now poised to be an economic power in the future. Besides, Vietnamese Americans scientists have contributed a lot to America in the past 30 yrs. People like Duong Nguyet Anh, Eugene Trinh, Dinh Viet, Nguyen Xuong, Bui Tuong Phong, Doan Duy Loan, etc. May God bless our people.

Nguyễn Trung Trực (1839October 27, 1868) was a Vietnamese fisherman who organized and led village militia forces which fought against French colonial forces in the Mekong Delta in southern Vietnam in the 1860s. He was active in Tan An (now part of Long An province) and Rach Gia (now part of Kien Giang province) from the initial French invasion until his capture and execution.

Also I forgot to mention Mrs. Duong Nguyet Anh was in charge for the production of a new weapon called the Thermobaric Bombs that are used in the Middle East. Also one of Mrs. Loan Duy Le design was in the Guiness World of Record for speed.
