I have always admired this poem so much! I can't believe that the teenage generation are reading this wonderful phrase from the beginning of the Twilight Saga: Eclipse novel...Not being mean but this poem does not deserve to be in that writing work.

@Dank951 i see what you mean. but i think it's just another way to make young people familiar with poetry. i don't read that many poems and at school they neither thought us any, so for me the twilight book was how i first heard about it. and i'm glad, i love this one!

On line 5 you replaced the word, "it" with, "I" I realize its only a minor mistake but for class we had to memorize 50 lines of any poetry and this was one of mine and when i read it aloud i made the same mistake and was deducted points :(

YOur voice is not creepy at all! It is strong, independent, and wise. I like your interpretation as well, I think that you really understand the poem, and know how to convey it to others. very nice job.
