  • BITCH YOU CUT OFF HALF OF THAT JALAPENO

  • change the video title to "Jalapenos for white people"

  • her: "take the top off, take the bottom off.."

    me: ^-^ hehehe

  • once, i dropped a jalapeno in my underpants, just to see what would happen. six months later, and it's still there. bask in my awesomeness.

  • Am I the only one who hears "show tits" in the intro of these videos?

  • @skurmjolk You're not alone :P

  • @skurmjolk The producers of Chow thought it would be nice to tell the woman to do something useful so long as they are not making sandwiches in the kitchen.

  • The seeds aren't actually the hottest part of the pepper, it's actually the ribs.

  • This must be first useful video I've ever seen on CHOW

  • i just rip off the stem and suck the seeds out

  • A second and a half?

  • raped salsa?

  • it's so easy but i never thought about doing it tha way! wow. thanks for that.

  • I cut it in half and rip the stuff out.

  • me to

  • @YaoMingLily i nearly pissed myself laughing at your comment. (:

  • yea but doesn't discarding the seeds also discard the heat factor as well?

  • no the ribs inside of a pepper are what make it hot.

  • Try a cold-cut sandwich with small slices of jalapeño, and you will certainly taste something way different. The spice is much milder, but the flavor manages to make good presence. If you want to slices to stay in the sandwich, put a slice of cheese over the jalapeño and grill/toast the sandwich.

  • thanks

  • @1JenniferMM

No because the white veins/ribs on the pepper has a TON of heat on it.

  • @1JenniferMM No, most of the heat is in the white thingys

  • @1JenniferMM True but not everyone wants it as hot and there are some recipes where you take the seeds aside and use them for another part of the dish or for another dish entirely. I know a guy that saves the seeds and dries them so that those who want their chili a bit milder can have it and those who want it hotter can use the seeds he set aside.

  • @1JenniferMM thats the reason why it doesn't make sense

we take jalapenos for the spicy heat

so throwing away the seeds is just not right

  • pfff second and a half my ass, maybe if you want some skin in that salsa too

  • I eat it all!!! >:D

  • hmmm.... I will have to try this.

  • that is much faster than the way I was doing it
