@DemonizedAlucard I gotta say, out of every tales game I've played...this is only one that doesn't seem to have any recyclced artes. I'm so excited. But I still play Tales of the Abyss and Tales of Symphonia every now and then.
@ThomasEbel27 I never got to play Abyss although it looked so damn amazing, but they get so rare to find it is ridiculous, also I loved Symphonia, I really liked Vesperia the best it was my favorite thus far, but Graces looks amazing, do you know if it is a lengthy game or not or heard anything of that sort on it?
@DemonizedAlucard Err...the gamestop ad, so take it with a grain of salt, said you can expect 50+ hours of gameplay at least. So for me it'll be about 150-200+ considering I like to do multiple playthroughs of each tales game using different teams. XD

Also, screw all of you bashing FPS games. Don't generalize, just go out and say Call of Duty, for fuck's sake. The only mode in that game that requires any sort of thought is Search and Destroy, and I have that in Counter Strike/TF2. It was fun, but I can't handle the series anymore, it's too broken...

Because what is mainly is everyone's desire to play what they choose, because I'd bet that there are people you know that don't like every single game you play, so eh. people who call rpgs and fps is childish because you wouldnt call a book childish, well guess what same concept except it's more interactive and somewhat harder to do in some ways the difference is the story fps games are too predictable but have their moments like halo and bulletstorm their unique bur rpg are mainly story based, ok gameplay like fps is important but generally if one was more childish I would say fps for the lack of creativity this is partially aimed at your statement @medmuscle
This might be the first Tales of game I'll be able to play. I would've liked to play Tales of Vesperia, but it doesn't seem to be coming to PS3 in the U.S. though :(

@scabab90 so what? that's how alot of tales games designs are but the story and plots are usually pretty mature. But like I said you wouldn't really know that. The graphics being bad are your opinion, I guess you are not into cell shading because as far as cell shading goes this is done in very good taste and there isn't many games in the market that can pull it off this good. It's not just about graphics, it's about art direction, if this style of game does not interest you then don't watch.

Tales of the World was a spin off game that crossed over several main characters from several different Tales of Games. Sort of like Final Fantasy Dyssidia without being a straight fighting game.

Why would they release a sequel to a game that we never even played? Does this game continue after the story of Tales of Graces on the Wii? if so, then I probably won't play this until the first one gets released here...I don't want to miss any of the story :/
@slitheryjuggler94 It's not a continuation. It's the exact same game but a new +10 hour epilogue added. So you won't be missing out on any of the story, you'll get the same story plus some more. I hope I helped.

Xillia's actually not that good. It's incomplete, has multiple gameplay issues, and has a console crashing glitch.
I mean, visually, it's stunning, but the game director even admitted to rushing the game so much that they excluded two characters. For no reason, might I add.

@EdwR1 Well I got news for you the released date for this in North America has been confirmed to February 2 of next year. So yea that's great. Now I'm just hoping the dubbing is good for this game. I think we will see a english trailer for this game at the TGS next month & hopefully also a english trailer for .hack//LINK & maybe even a trailer for freaking Tales of Xillia or maybe hopefully them confirming a North America release date for it.

It's a HD upgraded port for the PS3 with an added epilogue after the original story. It also includes new story scenes, costumes, secrets, etc. Basically, the definitive version of the game.

Wait a minute... does this have bios of other Tales characters? Cause I think I saw Guy, Raine, Emil, and Kratos. And wasn't this game also on the Wii? Isn't this just an expanded version of the original game?
@DartUchiha It's a mini-game. Over the course of the game, you can find cards with Tales characters on them. When you have enough, you can play the mini-game which tests your knowledge of the Tales series by giving you a quote a character said and you have to pick the right card. Though I don't know how they'll localize it since there's like 30 characters from the unlocalized games like Kyle, Eugene, and Ange that are part of it (But quotes are written on card descriptions)

Why would they release a sequel to a game that we never even played? Does this game continue after the story of Tales of Graces on the Wii? if so, then I probably won't play this until the first one gets released here...I don't want to miss any of the story :/

@slitheryjuggler94 It's not a continuation. It's the exact same game but a new +10 hour epilogue added. So you won't be missing out on any of the story, you'll get the same story plus some more. I hope I helped.

Xillia's actually not that good. It's incomplete, has multiple gameplay issues, and has a console crashing glitch.
I mean, visually, it's stunning, but the game director even admitted to rushing the game so much that they excluded two characters. For no reason, might I add.

@EdwR1 Well I got news for you the released date for this in North America has been confirmed to February 2 of next year. So yea that's great. Now I'm just hoping the dubbing is good for this game. I think we will see a english trailer for this game at the TGS next month & hopefully also a english trailer for .hack//LINK & maybe even a trailer for freaking Tales of Xillia or maybe hopefully them confirming a North America release date for it.

It's a HD upgraded port for the PS3 with an added epilogue after the original story. It also includes new story scenes, costumes, secrets, etc. Basically, the definitive version of the game.

Wait a minute... does this have bios of other Tales characters? Cause I think I saw Guy, Raine, Emil, and Kratos. And wasn't this game also on the Wii? Isn't this just an expanded version of the original game?

@DartUchiha It's a mini-game. Over the course of the game, you can find cards with Tales characters on them. When you have enough, you can play the mini-game which tests your knowledge of the Tales series by giving you a quote a character said and you have to pick the right card. Though I don't know how they'll localize it since there's like 30 characters from the unlocalized games like Kyle, Eugene, and Ange that are part of it (But quotes are written on card descriptions)
