@SegaSusi Actually my friend, Nintendo didn't do that. It was id, they were aiming to make it so a wider range of consumers would buy the game if they targeted it for a slightly younger audience. They could of had it red if they wanted, but of course, they didn't, for more money :P

And about Mad World... it's not really a contradiction. The Wii has such a childish image that they got games like that, Red Steel, and others so that Satoru Iwata could say "See? We also have violent games!" and appeal more people.

@robmckrillable I can't give you a "list" per-say but the game Bionic Commando was probably one of my favorite NES games. Look up a video on Youtube before you buy it just in case that type of game doesn't interest you. :)

Another one would be Castlevania 1 or 3 (skip 2 ^^). They are notorious for being VERY hard but the game play is so addicting that you don't want to stop. Some people that grew up with the game have yet to beat it even in their adult years.
