WOTLK: May have had some of the worst/easiest rated dungeons/raids in all the expansions.. but hands down the best story line. Damn I miss this era already.

0:36 - The main theme of WOTLK. The key of great soundtracks is replaying in a little different variations in different places. For example 1:02 touches my heart.
Deathwing's not having a hissy fit. He's literally gone mad, even more mad after the Demon Soul. You have to understand the lore behin Deathwing, to understand Cataclysm. Once blizz introduces War of the Ancients CoT, that'll open up some more insight on Deathwing. I agree, that the Cata storyline isnt all THAT great. But, it has many different aspects to it than Wrath did. I'm just glad Deathwing actually DOES something, instead of threatening us, and telling us he'll get us next time...

@TwilightCreep Meh, I love Deathwing, but Arthas' story is more heartbreaking. Deathwing just went insane because of the whispers of the Old God's. Arthas was just trying to protect his people from the very thing he ended up turning into.
1:25 + is just amazing. You can feel the despair, agony, and spite. The chorus is great, but this sound is just so out there. It would be great to play on Halloween night; Spooky!

As a death knight, i dont feel myself belong to alliance or horde. For the lore, death knights can be enlarge as a faction. Screechers, abominations, ghouls and many other character has more deeper enthusiasticm rather than current factions.
I will be waiting to serve Bolvard as our new Lich King...
@Kemalistim In cata Sylvanas tries to kill the horde DK leader (some elf cant remember name) and all DKs (yes including the horde ones)+ Argent Crusade go againts the Forsaken(horde).

Whenever I hear this I always picture Arthas walking down the streets of Lordaeron about to murder his father. He is still there, yet he has already begun to be consumed by the darkness. I get deeply into works of fiction, especially in video games where I can essentially be among the story, and I have to say, I get really touched by Arthas' story every time I hear this O Thanagor melody that plays a lot in Wrath. Such an amazing epic story of sadness, betrayal and corruption.
The thing i dislike about WoW is the outcome after Warcraft 3. I mean, Warcraft 3 had 4 campaigns, and three of them was continued in WoW.
WoW made you pick between the Horde and Alliance, and while they shoved Night elves into the Alliance and " Forsaken " as Horde. The Forsaken aren't the Undead you played as through the biggest part of the game.
You played /as/ The Scourge, and played through Arthas becoming the Lich King. In WoW you can't continue that story like the rest.

awesome video. have any of you people looked at the wow cheats pack on warcraftbotsXinfo (replace X with .) ? its awesome, i just down loaded the pack. it's got totally every thing inside it, gold guides, bots, hacks, glitches and even the newest arena glitch. i perhaps shouldn't reveal to folks about it but at least this gives you all a reasonable opportunity to get it before i own you all!
I believe the ebon hold is like the last memory of the Lich King, and the song plays to remind people of the tradegy of Arthas, Paladin of the Silver Hand and Prince of Lordearon, who's soul was stolen by Frostmourne and his body formed with Ner'zhul's, the Lich King's, soul. He was finally released upon the breaking of Frostmourne, but died soon afterwards.
Ner'Zhul's soul was destroyed by Arthas, and that of Matthias Lehner's was banished of that body. Arthas's soul was still there, but the Sword and the Helm (Or Yogg'Saron?*)still controlled him. When the Sword(Frostmourne) was destroyed, and the Helm fell off his head, he was finally free.
Yes it reminds of the tragedy of Arthas but also reminds of the tragic fate of all Death Knights, most of which were given no choice but to become masters of undeath and plague, a force to be reckoned with. Fallen warriors of exceptional skill and determination who were created to advance Arthas's plans to eradicate all life on Azeroth. That is why even though most of the Death Knights champion righteous causes, they are still seen as a threat to the world and sometimes even despised.
@Darkcreed501 well if his soul was released after the destruction of frostmourn, then we shouldn't have killed him. he should have gotten a second chance to become a human again. the ending was really sad. even though i play horde, i would have liked to see arthas become the leader of the alliance.
@azabevojdan it seems like it should not be over. How the Alliance didnt give him a chance, he never wanted to be the bad guy anyways. They could have atleast given him a fountian in stormwind in his honor or something. The one in Dal is just for everyone who "suffered from the scourge"

the thing is, that we may say: about 5 milliards of scourge members, wich are undead and something like that. believe me, when they just walk around on the streets and kill ONE human, that human becomes scourge, wich will say there are 2 scourge now. when it goes on in that way, we wont live long anymore. with the lich king it is more simple. he plans to take over the world in ONE hit, instead of attacking again and again. Deathwing's not having a hissy fit. He's literally gone mad, even more mad after the Demon Soul. You have to understand the lore behin Deathwing, to understand Cataclysm. Once blizz introduces War of the Ancients CoT, that'll open up some more insight on Deathwing. I agree, that the Cata storyline isnt all THAT great. But, it has many different aspects to it than Wrath did. I'm just glad Deathwing actually DOES something, instead of threatening us, and telling us he'll get us next time...

@NouraOfModania Epic (O thanagor). Although I'm a new fan, Im not impressed with cataclism. I believe Arhtas' story is the best and I never heared better music for a videogame than Lich king's theme with vocals that remind his past as a paladin. A real wonder. Arthas we miss you!!!

@Saradidis I stopped as well. WoTLK was definitely worth the money. Cataclysm questing was enjoyable but, there is something unrelateable with Cataclysm. I guess I'm thrown off by the fact Deathwing is just having a hissy fit and Arthas had some understandable human qualities to him. WoTLK was about a tragedy, idk what Cataclysm counts as. Lol.

@TwilightCreep Meh, I love Deathwing, but Arthas' story is more heartbreaking. Deathwing just went insane because of the whispers of the Old God's. Arthas was just trying to protect his people from the very thing he ended up turning into.

As a death knight, i dont feel myself belong to alliance or horde. For the lore, death knights can be enlarge as a faction. Screechers, abominations, ghouls and many other character has more deeper enthusiasticm rather than current factions.
I will be waiting to serve Bolvard as our new Lich King...

Am I the only one who's just stood in the Ebon Hold for a moment to just listen to this and take it all in? Whenever I hear this I always picture Arthas walking down the streets of Lordaeron about to murder his father. He is still there, yet he has already begun to be consumed by the darkness. It makes me want to break down crying for a lost relative...
Props to Blizzard. They're so perfect with the music scores they've put into the game. It makes it just that much more fantastic.

I get deeply into works of fiction, especially in video games where I can essentially be among the story, and I have to say, I get really touched by Arthas' story every time I hear this O Thanagor melody that plays a lot in Wrath. Such an amazing epic story of sadness, betrayal and corruption.

The thing i dislike about WoW is the outcome after Warcraft 3. I mean, Warcraft 3 had 4 campaigns, and three of them was continued in WoW.
WoW made you pick between the Horde and Alliance, and while they shoved Night elves into the Alliance and " Forsaken " as Horde. The Forsaken aren't the Undead you played as through the biggest part of the game.
You played /as/ The Scourge, and played through Arthas becoming the Lich King. In WoW you can't continue that story like the rest.

But when they got back to Southshore, they found out that the whole town got purged by the undead, thinking the thoughts that it all was theyr faults they whent after the trace left behind, arriving at Strahnbrad they were ambushed by the undead, next page

I believe the ebon hold is like the last memory of the Lich King, and the song plays to remind people of the tradegy of Arthas, Paladin of the Silver Hand and Prince of Lordearon, who's soul was stolen by Frostmourne and his body formed with Ner'zhul's, the Lich King's, soul. He was finally released upon the breaking of Frostmourne, but died soon afterwards.

Ner'Zhul's soul was destroyed by Arthas, and that of Matthias Lehner's was banished of that body. Arthas's soul was still there, but the Sword and the Helm (Or Yogg'Saron?*)still controlled him. When the Sword(Frostmourne) was destroyed, and the Helm fell off his head, he was finally free.
*He wasnt killed, only defeated.

Yes it reminds of the tragedy of Arthas but also reminds of the tragic fate of all Death Knights, most of which were given no choice but to become masters of undeath and plague, a force to be reckoned with. Fallen warriors of exceptional skill and determination who were created to advance Arthas's plans to eradicate all life on Azeroth. That is why even though most of the Death Knights champion righteous causes, they are still seen as a threat to the world and sometimes even despised.

@Darkcreed501 well if his soul was released after the destruction of frostmourn, then we shouldn't have killed him. he should have gotten a second chance to become a human again. the ending was really sad. even though i play horde, i would have liked to see arthas become the leader of the alliance.

@azabevojdan it seems like it should not be over. How the Alliance didnt give him a chance, he never wanted to be the bad guy anyways. They could have atleast given him a fountian in stormwind in his honor or something. The one in Dal is just for everyone who "suffered from the scourge"
