Sorry, this is totally pointless. You have taken everything ethereal and transcendental in the song and turned it into a plodding finger-picking exercise, nailing its soaring nature right to the ground.

I actually think that nobody should be allowed to cover bands like MBV and Neutral Milk Hotel.Simply because there's so much in it that nobody but the artist could ever understand.But you just do this so wondefully.The sound is golden sunlight!

I enjoyed this and the other two MBV covers a lot - to the extent that I've reverse-engineered the video to MP3s to listen on my iPod. If you can be bothered to write down the chords as tab for the three songs, I for one would be interested.

If anything, you have a lot of balls covering this song. "All I Need" is one of MBV's finest and trippiest songs, and it's tough to pull off so well. I don't believe MBV ever played it live.

I almost gave up watching this clip. However, right before the 1:46 mark, your rendition of this song kicks into an appropriate gear. I think the song would sound much better if you play it consistently at a faster tempo. Also, take it easy on the vocals. It's apparent that Kevin and Bilinda knew that they could ruin their great sound and songs with any dramatic vocalization.

Sorry, no good. Stripping the song down to this might be considered worthwhile to some, but it's pointless within a certain context. You have stripped the song of most of what makes it special. And your voice is out of tune.

it's the best moment of the song... it shows that you aren't thinking as hard. When you seem more relaxed there is a real difference in how it all sounds together.

The best rendition yet, but I am slightly biased, its my favorite song. Each of your videos show so much progression, this one has the best balance between your voice and the guitar. When the pace of the song picks up they really become one thing...like when you play oldtime, like they belong together. If you don't like my idea and you're going to keep doing it solo, the obvious choice is "Lose My Breath," there's already an actual acoustic in that one. At any rate you should keep doing it regardless of what ANYONE thinks, since even if no one will ever forget MBV, it's not like the real Kevin Shields is seriously getting off his ass and making music anymore, so you might as well do it for him. Old MBV live clips on YT and this, are the closest things Shields has had to "output" since 2003.

I'm actually amazed more than anything that you somehow figured out the lyrics to MBV songs, either from "Isn't Anything" OR "Loveless." Playing acoustic takes on MBV songs is sort of a clever idea obviously but rather than doing it solo you should get an army full of guys with acoustic guitars together, and have them create a nasty wave of sound to emulate Kevin Shields.
