Not a third player. Its Karl playing a Fender Strat body with a Jackson neck. I think the fretboard is scalloped as well. Not sure why they edited that into the video, but that's what it is.

There was a video I remember years ago where Dallas and Karl were showing how to play some of their songs and he either mentioned it or was using it. Not really sure why even do that when I think a Soloist body feels better anyway. Then again Vs are my favorite, like his KxK.

@ThyREALDevilmouse I couldn't agree more, man. George constantly emphasizes using one foot while blasting, because the two foot blast sounds lazy, sluggish and not in your face. People are just lazy to get their singles that fast. Personally, as a drummer of 5 years, it takes a long time to get your foot that fast playing 32nd notes, but trust me, it comes with time. One of the best metal drummers out there in the history of this music. Adam Jarvis is definitely up there these days as well.

I dont think Kollias is the fastest drummer in the world or the best. He is near the top, but I dont think his hands are that special. His footwork is really good and his swivel foot style is smooth and economic.

For one, I think John Longstreth is better. His difficulty level is higher than Kollias when comparing the bands music. I prefer his cymbal work much more and his blasting is more varied/faster. I saw them live a couple of years ago & his gravity blasts were tops.

The frontman, composer and funder is Karl Sanders, the blond guitarist, and yes, they are working on their 7th album that will come out in 2012 and they will also do a tour after the release.

This October also a demo re-release will come out, "Worhip the Animal" (1994 Demo) and i strongly recommend it, it's great.
