EiTS , and all post-rock for that matter, is very much like drinking fine wine. At first, you don't really know if you like it, but it's intriguing so you keep sipping at i. After some time (and this is different for everyone) you start to notice all this complexity and subtlety. There's loads more palatable and more "interesting" music out there, but there's nothing with quite this level of emotional complexity outside of Post Rock.
This song reminds me of this one time, with this one person, on top of the mountain..or were we sailing in the seas? No mind. She had a name. Her name? She told me her name was LIFE. I watched her drown...or did she fall? I heard her muted whispers through the canyon; her screeching cries across the waves. Those things, those words pierced to the core shattering as an ice sickle on onyx. They melted inside me, I became LIFE, she was I and I was he.
the sound engineer could have done a better job in the beginning, but the good part starts in the middle and "flows into infinity". all in all they're just great and I'm looking forward to see them live to make up my mind if they are a liveband or not :)
One of my faves...This would have been a sweet festival. You should have put the song name in the title..and subtext the festival name. Oh well. Nice upload.
they really knock me out. wizards...true stars... i am a UFO. I dislike singing. I like electronics. so what kind of guitars amps and effects? if you tell me i will pray for you.
whats the green guitar Munaf is using thats a nice guitar. i tried looking it up and it seems he uses a Fender Stratocaster. which to me that guitar doesnt seem like one and looks to nice to be one looks very different. Lol
Music that's so alive all you can do is keep from skipping in forward just out of anticipation yet keep right where it is because it's so damn awesome.
I love it when bands look astonished by what they are doing, even when they've done in thousands of times. " WTF am I doing! It is AWESOME" like riding a wave you created.
if you really want to see them, then you just have to do it! even if its expansive, there is allways a way... be patient and keep your eyes open, your live will be nice to you, if you are nice to it ;)
Absolutely brilliant. these guys never fail to amaze me. I love some of the different ideas and timbres they brought in after "The Earth is Not a Cold Dead Place". I can particularly hear it on songs like "So Long, Lonesome" where there's piano, but even some of the musical ideas are different, but still fantastic and truly Explosions.
Eits don't need vocals , this music is perfect without , words can only ruin a song like this , eits ' music is pure n beautiful and let me open my mind , without having the need to understand the exact message of the songs
Lol, not to bash on EITS and don't get me wrong they are a fantastic band but the thing is, the reason why they don't have a singer is because they can't sing! Oh no... J/K :) But EITS is a great band to have. always welcome.

I loved the transition that Munaf played leading into the song.
