This is the most intense reality show i've ever seen. it's a show that gives a good name for reality shows with its beautiful concept on surviving in the wild, that takes a strong personality and heart to do it. 50 days!! Way to go Ed, your the man!!!
I think they should make a multi episode series where u have 5 or 6 of these survivalists video taping themselves living off the land,gathering food,building shelters in a sort of tribe if u will,for an extended period of time.

What this man did was an absolute triumph. In an age where we as a species are more dependant on technology than ever he managed to survive with the bare minimum. I think the show also gave a good insight into human phsycology.
For years I was watching different people with two sides of personalities. One in the civilization and the other one,( that even them selves aren't aware of), wilderness one. When you put them in "out of their comfort zone" place some of them freak out. One who is committed to go in to wilderness like Ed should prepare him self with knowledge or books how to survive, at least that would be smart. For me Ed is entertaining failure.

I totally agree. Being in the wild that long by yourself can be a very wild experience. Those that are making fun of him wouldn't last a day here. The Yukon has the largest concentration of grizzlies in the world other than Alaska and some of the craziest terrain on the planet. I'd like to see them do it. Now that would be funny. :o)
