  • Thank you. Very helpful.

  • its wireless? I have a Canon Vixia HG21 with 3,5mm audio in.

    Its work with my camera?

  • @venerojo Hi there. It's wired, hence the cheap price :) The cable is 20' long. It has a 3.5mm audio jack and comes with a 1/4" adapter too. Click the link in my description to be taken right to the product page. The 3.5mm works great with my Canon HF200 as you can hear in the video. All the best.

  • you really don't understand the kind of drain an L.E.D would put on an LR44 battery, even a low current L.E.D would drain the battery with the require forward voltage. what the battery barrel needs is only an orange coloured mark when the switch is in the on position like on Ipod's or Iphone's silent switch. just a bit if paint is all it needs, no more, no less!

  • awesome dude... it makes such a bid difference and sounds great!

  • @TheElectret Thanks! I am going to try it out some more on the next trip. I'm looking forward to seeing the results in real travel-blog situations :)

  • absolutely awsome, will definately chek this out. thanks!

  • @AlanChunkyMunky Great! Let me know how it works out for you.

  • Nice review, still like the microphone? I was thinking about the Pro88W wireless version, ever try it?

  • @projectgadget I haven't tried the wireless. I was looking at one point for a 'cheap' wireless solution. I suppose I could have gotten a wireless microphone instead of getting the H2 sound recorder and perhaps I'd have used it more than I'm using the Zoom H2, lol, but for ambient recordings (think Chiang Mai Buddhist Temple at sunrise kind of thing) it's pretty awesome. The wired one I got was mainly because it filled the 'quiet-narration' hole for 20 bucks. I'm happy for the price :)

  • @tinfamily agree with you on the inexpensive wired option as a real value. I have tried the Azden shotgun, Sennheiser mke400 ($200) and still not happy with sound. Today I am ordering a wireless Audio Technica setup and hoping the 3rd time is the charm. I really liked how the external sound cut out during your ocean video. ps - i will be shooting a video today of the Sennheiser mke400 and new hd cam. thanks

  • @projectgadget I'll definitely keep an eye out for that video. I'd love to hear how it sounds!

  • @tinfamily shot the video with the sennheiser today and ordered the wireless audio technica to arrive friday so happy to get out of the studio and in the outdoors!

  • @projectgadget I'll keep an eye out for the video. I'm hoping to see that there's not too much interference, but will have to wait for your results to know :) Sometimes when I'm going intl. with the remote transmitters for flash units and for the DSLR I always wonder if I'm going to run into problems with someone at customs because of all the wireless.

  • thats a big difference for sure had to turn the speakers down after you switch over lol again great vid keep up the good work

  • @redmule02 Hi Red! Yep that's why I put the warning in there. It's perhaps twice as loud, but I didn't want to equalize the before and after otherwise it'd defeat the purpose of showing the difference :D I'm trying to think of what to demo on next. Maybe next hike or something just to give it another demo. hmmm or maybe downtown by a freeway offramp :D

  • What a difference thanks for the review!

  • @noshoesreviews Thanks for the feedback! I'm hoping it'll be easy to use this while on the run when traveling :)
