Nothing special. This was rendered frame by frame, so I was really only getting about 2-20fps during most of the recording. But if your wondering what my hardware specs were at the time, I was running an e6600 with 2gb ddr2, and a single 8800gt. The real limitation i found out for running this is the amount of vram you have on your video card. With my 8800gt with 512mb the shader would crash if i had a few too many objects.

i have AMD Athlon Dual Core 3.3 Each, ATI Radeon HD2650 Pro, 3GB Ram and can have around 400k objects on the screen without lagg ^^ keep around 10-15 fps

u write on the little search bar of vista : User and User Acounts should show so u press that and then a window will open and ull find it there. You'll need to restart the pc and then ull be able to install it correctly,

Man oh man, I sure hope for your sake that you read this comment before you buy it. You can buy a better computer than an alienware and for cheaper if you're willing to build it yourself. It really isn't very hard at all and on many forums you can find people to help you. Alienware is good but very very overpriced.

nope. it could only run it at maybe 18 frames per second. if they tones down the graphics, maybe, but then they have to configure the controls, and crysis has alot of them.

Have you ever encountered where the editor turns a bright shade of white when looking at to many objects at once? Idk if its cause I'm using bricks and there are a lot more they are just smaller or what but its quite annoying. Its not my PC either cause my RAM is nowhere near full capacity when it happens.

yeah i hate that problem. I think it has something to do with video cards though. Probably the more ram you have on your video card, the further you can go without that problem. I havent been able to figure out if its that though. my card already has 512mb. If anyone finds a way around this I would be more than interested.

I would more than love to find a way around that annoying problem. that is one of only 2 things that limit me from going any further. the other being the fact that my computer closes the editor after I peak 1500mb's of usage. Which i added 2 more gigs thinking that might help, but I probably just need a 64bit OS to fix that.

yeah, i put about 16 in each.

It is not in real time, but the better the video card and cpu, the more you can do. It usually is not very slow for me.

nice i have to learn to use the sandbox editoir... i usually use the unreal editors and 3dsmax but from what i saw in the sandbox editor, it's more close to 3dsmax than others but didn't have the time to learn it :D

its pretty easy to get used to compaired to 3ds max. there is also a way u can import your 3d models as rigid bodies into the editor.
