@MrDJJ2125 jailbreaking doesn't remove apps or anything. If you get a tethered JB then when the untethered comes out, you can JB and everything will be the same. If you are worried, just back up your iphone in itunes and you can restore it b4 you JB

I have a tethered jailbreak on my iPhone 4 and it's not a pain at all. honestly, how many times do you turn off your phone or let it die? and it takes like 30 seconds to boot it. plus, if it dies, and you're around an outlet, you're probably around a computer. I was going to stay away but I broke down and jailbroke it and it's not bad at all. Don't dog it till you try it.

They're practically the same. main reasons I switched was because the megapixel is higher (8mp) on 4s, resolution went up to 1080px, the best part, which was a BIG problem on my iphone 4, signal! I now have full bars on 4s compared to my 1 or 2 bars at HOME when i was on 4.
