@Ash4800 Equity is the residual value after liability claims. So if I have $20,000 of cash as an asset, and $5000 in outstanding liability debt, my equity would be $15,000. In accounting terms, equity is the make up of retained earnings (earnings accumulated that stay within the company) and common shares (or dollars raised by the corporation in the form of stock).
@MrBornsleeky depending on the size of your company, you would go an talk to an investment bank and they would set up and offering for you. Not for free of course =]
All your videos are mind blowing, I think I am getting addicted to it :-) My interest and knowledge in the subject in getting better everyday, thank you very much.
excellent video i am about to get into advanced accounting and this was the best explication of a bond yet...please make more videos this is excellent.
One thing I DID learn from that guy I lived w/ is that there are 2 types of bonds: Junk and whatever the regular is called.
Could you do a video about a bridge loan? I don't understand what that is.
I can't imagine a bank helping someone get a loan. They turned me down flat, b/c I had no proof I could pay it back and no collateral. Something like that.
I have no parents to say they'll be responsible for the cost if I don't pay it.

Too bad the video doesn't explain anything about the risks attached. Like this, it almost appears to be a way to make free money.
Got some cash? Buy a bond and make some profit.
