Seriously, the reason for which Brawl sucks is that they took out all of the tech skill, the majority of the timing and a lot of the actual difficulties of becoming a decent player. If you think normal is too hard, you probably just suck at the game.

uh no, one of the reason brawl is criticized is becuase it has stale move negation. Melee and 64 had it too, but in brawl it has a larger effect.

Well,stale move negation is somtime useful, like when someone spam powerful moves, like pikachu's down special. Snake has powerful tilts and air attack, spaming them would give Snake high chances to win, with stale move negation, it helps balancing him with other fighters. And note that stale move negation resets when an opponent get kOed. Stale move negation is to pervent others from spamming the same moves all the time. But I have to admit its effect has been increased way too much in Brawl.
