  • Lulu is dead. I killed her.

  • lol!!! very funny

  • Oh God I'm so happy to see this again. I love the part with those faced stars XD.

  • I used to watch Little Lulu on Channel 5 from New York. It's so great to see this again!

  • awe, my mom bought me and my sister these on video cassette a long time ago. Love these. thanks

  • @phoenixmoon3 yeah...and there was this whole mash-up of other cartoons... just weird cartoons~ but i was talking with a cousin from my stepdad's side and he watched these too...thot we were the only ones....but he remembered the singing faces in the star and it was like i was 5 again

  • i totally remember watching this when i was a kid!!

  • So she was writing "I'll never play hooky again," right?

  • I always remembered this cartoon.not only because of the lesson it taught but because this was the first time I ever heard the Swing on a Star song.

I heard the song sung by many others over the years(including Shari Lewis and Lamb Chop)before I learned that it was first sung by Bing Crosby in the movie Going My way.

  • man i miss little lulu

  • hey bathroom is in her bedroom no doors n she just jump n dress no undies change never showerd nice hygenie there...lol

  • Does she was like that in original comics?, her attitude is different from 1996 cartoon.

  • The original comic strip Lulu (as in 1930s/40s) was sort of a wild child. These cartoons toned her down a little but still kept her basically a "naughty" kid. The persona that showed up in the 1996 HBO series came from the comic book version, which started around 1948 (ironically just as this cartoon series ended). That Lulu was a much more straight 'n' narrow type. (Perhaps this musical nightmare straightened her out? :)

  • oh would u like to swing on a star....

  • there was another cartoon where she's a girl scout and she goes camping with her dad and he gets trapped in a cave and she has to get him out. anyway, these cartoons used to influence my behavior as a child. i was such a badass.

  • I think that 1 is Cad & Caddy adriantrench.

  • no, actually, the cartoon was called a scout with a gout. it used to be on youtube, but if you search on google videos, you might get it.

  • Okay thanks again for the Little LuLu info captainkeeeta. :)

  • that was the BEST thing in the entire world!!... lol not really, but just looking at this brings all my memories back. Everything looks so familiar.. the fish... the pig drawn in chalk... its all so nostalgic... LOVE THIS and THANKYOU for uploading!!

  • These cartoons are out on DVDs. Look in bargain stores (dollar stores, 99 stores). I have mine & I get them at 99 Cent Stuff! There MAY be a few collections on the internet, but you gotta look hard.

  • I have a cheap lowbudget Little LuLu 99 cents dvd too ShinibiBelldandy. It's a pretty good quality dvd too.

  • Lille Lulu, I love you-lu! It's a shame that so many of your cartoons have been so vandalized with those hideous U.M.&M TV titles instead of the glorious Paramount titles with you coming out in the "spinning star." Quite a slap in the face to those wonderful animators!

  • Lulu's a genius. Anyone who could think of using a fish as bait, a chalk holder to get out of punishment, and manage a secret storage compartment in the school's front steps. Pretty clever, hmmmmmm? I think so!

  • i love this 1...i have it on video somewhere

  • same here

  • i love little lulu..can you upload ummm forgot whats the name of it but its when lulu goes to to a trial of instruments

  • musical lulu

  • i miss this!!!!!

  • aw memories

  • i see this video has got a little lag in sound too.. like the one ive got on vhs.

somebody should really fix it, if it goes to dvd

  • Little Lulu Roxs!!!

  • @WatermelonLotion She rocks my socks, just like then-unborn Reka M, the Japanese voice of Ash/Satoshi.

  • hey neoprankster I think that's bob hope on the star at 4:35

  • Loves it

  • I remember watching Little Lulu when I was a kid. This is my favorite episode. I was so excited to find it on here!

  • I used to love watching this cartoon when I was little! Thank you for putting it here on Youtube - good memories are coming back. ^.^

  • At 4:31, I think that's Bing Crosby's face on that star, and at 4:38 that must be Jerry Colonna's face. But who's that guy on the star at 4:35.

  • its one of the Marx bros. I think not sure.

  • @neoprankster Bob Hope

  • @BlueMidnightRain34 Thanks.

  • @neoprankster no problem.

  • Lulu's a Genius... I wish I had the 1940 version on DVD
