@CrossHasADeathwish look, HARDCORE, pure HARDCORE that is, is bands like Minor threat, the sub humans, black flag, and reagan youth. then in the late 80's/ early 90's, bands began mixing hardcore and metal, and were called metalcore. these bands included shit like earth crisis,converge, and madball plays this style, not pure hardcore. then in the 2000s a new style of metalcore which was more melodic and commercial became really popular, and eveyone forgot this wasnt the original metalcore.

u're a dumbfucker! Most of the Thrashers know what came first, and most of them respect the Hardcore bands, because their idols (like OverKill, Exodus, Slayer and even Metallica) were huge fans of Punk and Hardcore.
