As for Lana, they do need to bring her back, Chloe, and all the show is lacking the chemistry that made it so enjoyable.

I think the best way to bring Lana back will be to have her come back, maybe for the family engagement party or whatever, and have her say (Since Sam Jones is in "Legal" troubles lol) that she is now with Pete, that will be a perfect way to show some growth.

Lois and Tess have grown closer this year and delt with their issues to some extent.

Why Watchtower? It is like College, these are the people who are huge in their lives right now, I am sure they do the familes also, but this is for the people that have become big parts of their life that they can't just show up at a regular party.

Darkseid is HUGE he is not a Zod level threat that is Clark's equal, he is a God, so they are building to it. It has to be EPIC.

After watching your review, i understand that maybe they should have held off until the end of the season to have them engaged 'cause i honestly think it's a little too rushed and they need to go through some difficulty as a couple before taking that step. However, i know the writers have a reason for everything they do, and maybe the second half of this season is gunna be too action filled to pause and have a clois proposal...at least i'm hoping that will be the case.

i view the lana and lois thing like spidey with mary jane and gwen stacy. gwen may have been his first love, but when she was cloned/came back, spidey stood by mj. however i am splitting hairs. spidey had years of relationships and clark has a year

in a year's time...welll i don't know, what didn't work for me was hooking them up. problem is i think clark and lana know each other better than lois and clark. and i think they didn't develop clark's feelings for lois well enough, because it was rushed in the first 6 episodes in season 9. problem was lois was so absent in the last half of season 8. i didn't buy clark's feeling for lois by the time he kissed her. i don''t see how clark has come to love lois now. this is what i don't understand

But I do understand why the writers have morphed Lois and Tess' tense relationship into one of almost friendship, or at least amicability now. In general, Tess is now a confidant of the JL and has basically "crossed over" to the good side now. Therefore, having Tess and Lois become somewhat friendly is at least expected.

I love your suggestion about Lana. I loved it when you said it a while back and I agree that what it is really needed is a really good declaration by Clark of why Lois is who he wants, especially considering ONE, the reason why Clark and Lana split was because she became infected by kryptonite, NOT by choice; and TWO, when Lois asked Chloe what happened between Clark and Lana, Chloe gave a complete non-answer. I don't think it's necessary for Lana to RETURN, but I do think this needs closure.

I totally agree with your Clois opinion, I too am for Clois but not the handling/shaping of it.

I don't think the government is 100% on Clark being a "vigilante." Jon J'onns hasn't really been seen with Clark enough to be considered an accomplice, same thing with Zatanna. Either that or the writers didn't think to put ALL the heroes' pics in the paper.

What about Tess kissing Clark? She enjoyed that kiss, you could tell. Even if it was Clark Luthor, how is she going to allow Clark to just marry Lois? I'd love to see another Tess versus Lois fight at the Daily Planet, this time, wrestling for Clark's affection.

I don't know if you'll know what I'm talking about... But I recall the end of one of this season's eps where they did a close up on a woman, baddie I guessed, that looked a lot like Hawkman's wife from the flashback when he was going to kiss Lois. The woman appeared AFTER that moment. So, maybe Carter's wife in this life isn't dead and the knock-out pyramid is Suicide Squad or Darkseid related...?
