  • I don't want it, I need it

  • so what happens when something needs to be replaced inside this thing, lol there goes another 5 days replacing it

  • i love how all these dream pcs are named after greek myths

  • will it run wow?????

  • Your sound card audio port were crooked. XD

  • am i the only one who noticed its like...well upside downish? XD

  • @mutichannel its cuz the mother board is on the other side so it is upside down

  • @toomuchockey And i was thinking that hardly any cases could do that bored inits glory... xD

  • @mutichannel its "upside downish" because its a BTX formfactor, instead of ATX, they are essentially the same, other than the positioning of the motherboard in the case.

  • looks scarier than Hal!

  • I wish I had the money to build an epic pc....

    :\

  • k......0.0......SO MUCH POWER!!IT BURNS!!! fking amazing pc... i wish i had that kind of money to burn........looks great but i personally like the "great white" pc case...it was orgasmic!

  • 1 kV ? o.O

    omg..... mine is 500 V

  • hopefully this guys not just playing sims and solitaire 8^D - otherwise pretty fucking sick.

  • what are your voltages at 4.32. is it stable? i can only get 4.1 stable on asus ws board

  • I kinda liked it better when it was called murderbox. This is a poser rig.

  • Although Beast clearly took the murdermod designs, its still an awesome looking PC. The components used are awesome, the watercooling is great (wish compression fittings were used tho) and the paint job of the TJ07 is excellent, come on, its anodized red and black. Although Jellyfish is more eye catching, Cerberus (to me) looks cleaner, sleeker and the red just makes it scream awesomness, plus it has 3 GTX 285 in SLI :)

  • totaly agree

  • The system was made to nail gaming performance 24/7 as well as being within an acheiveable budget (£2-4k Cheaper than the rest) & excellent quality build . How many of the other entries fit that criteria? Also they would of used 5870's etc but at the time on submission the hardware wasn't available. Look out for next years entry, this was the first time they had entered, unlike Scan's 3 wins in a row............... (gah YT posts always seem to mess up on me)

  • Yeh but that's got nothing to do with the point of the comp - Bit-tech says "Every year we challenge the world's leading professional PC builders to craft the most technologically advanced, innovative, eye-catching PCs they can." Beast copied someone else's work, Cryo was tacky and the other one was cheap and simple. IMO SCAN and Kobalt met this criteria and by the looks of it Kobalt build systems as fast and good as this Beast every day..............

  • First thought was murdermod clone, they couldn't even be bothered to come up with an original design. In the mag they thanked ChilledPC - they offer all the TJ07 mods inc annodising seen in the Beast system so I recon ChilledPC did all the mods which is well cheeky. Also didn't Beast go bust last year?

  • Beast did have difficulties, but they are still here and still going strong, if they were not why would they still be about.

  • Errrrmmmmmm - Beast were bought out by another company after they went bust, the "new" Beast has nothing to do with the "old" Beast whatsoever. The brand is still here but the company you refer to is dead!

  • btw their forum is down and u can't even buy the system......?!?!?!?!

  • murder mod ripoff or did they build it

  • soon as i saw the BEAST written down the side of the pc it was enough to kill it for me, talk about a over - rated/ hyped pc, looks cheap as well.

  • RUBBISH, no bits powered barbs nor EK = RUBBISH!

  • Errm actually they ARE Bitspower barbs, they are the the True Silver fittings. Also, they are EK GPU blocks and the CPU block is the Heatkiller which is well known to outperform anything EK have. So actually it's NOT rubbish.

  • There is no such thing as Bitspowered True Silver, secondly they are not the more expensive Bitspowered compression fittings, those are just generic shit you have to use zip ties with.

Heatkiller is rubbish, the copper top EK version out performs plus EK looks way better.

  • Dude, check out Sidewindercomputers they have the Bitspower True fittings there. you never said anything about compression fittings just that they weren't bitspower and they are. Also see skinnee labs CPU block roundup. The Heatkiller wees all over several versions of the EK supreme and he uses the best testing there is.

  • Plus they have the EK Supreme Gold plated.

  • Face it, its over priced and not worth the money, I've seen far better done for far less by Murdermod.
