I checked the Baucus bill and is the worst so far. The house democrats bill, which included a strong public option, is the best bill. Baucus' bill is pretty much a set of provisions to ensure tha insurance companies get a lot more customers and continue to rip us off. Corporate welfare is what it is. I prefer no bill at all, no healthcare reform. Big corporations, wall st, big banks, insurance companies, they won again, they got away with it.
As the US Turns Do you think our Government will be up for an DayTime Emmy Soon??? Maybe Barrack will get it for Best Leading Actor??? Just a Thought, Thanks SHEEPLE, You Sold us Out but I Still Love YOU...... NOT!!!
this is why cable media choosing people because of the way they look is going to be the end of us all.
I mean, Cronkite, Murrow and just about any other news media name I can think of from the previous decades were far from being lookers but damn if they weren't sharp.
Then we have dolts like this one and the two FN beauty queens.
Baucus can suckass. This bill of his is not change, it is amplification of all that is presently wrong with healthcare. Baucus McSuckass needs to go away....NOW>
hey sailfished.... what about the 10 Billion a month we spent on the Iraq war...Money down the drain...Do you really feel safer....with Healthcare reform, we will actually save money in the long run...and feel healthier...
As a long time opponet of corporate ,robber baron government, and a Ron Paul supporter I agree with your suggestion and then some.We probably differ on our definition of health care reform though
Why is Chuck Todd always such a douche about these issues? Does he have some kind of stake in helping the insurance companies or does he just enjoy being clueless?
so a republican, a guy who didnt support his parties presidential nominee, a nebraskan who could pass for a GOPer, and one of the highest takers of insurance lobby money. WOOOOWW thats some amazing group...-_- excuse me please i must go into the other room and laugh uproariously.
You do know that it is not going to be passed as it is ...right even with bi-partisan , they are going to make a blending of all bills and it probably won't have any Republican support when it comes to the floor...The financial comity is just one comity out of 5
yes but the bauchus bill has very very very bad stuff in it and republicans can say... hey if you don't use most of the bacchus bill we won't support it
We must remove them from office - Snowe, Lieberman, McCaskill, Nelson, Baucus....-
REMOVE THEM NOW. It is our right and obligation to protect ourselves because they clearly are in bed with corporations who have no intentions of doing the right thing for Americans.
The level of delusion that is manifested re:who Obama really is blows me away. Surely by now you are starting to realize you have been bamboozled, Go get your flu shot as your brainstem is already atrophied
well i didn't give you a thumbs down and commend you if you have been calling. There are obviously those out there who have not. Those of us that have need to keep calling.
Don't just call your senators, call my senators, call your state's representatives, post on their facebook pages, myspace pages, email everything and do it now like we're just starting.
The problem i think with this bill is that it can be used as a format for healthcare reform where they just plug in the numbers in and change in intentions of the original intention ...becasue as the Baucus bill is written it sounds like no real healthcare reform but a bonanza for the insurance companies right now ...
Every politician who has supported ,or supports in the future any bill which authorizes the treasury or the fed to further rob our children of their future is gone. This is the line in the sand that we will no longer tolerate. GONE ,GONE ,GONE ,SOLID GONE
Go back to your paranoid delusions and elect another Republican to office. The Conservatives had their time. Now it is time for Liberals to invest in the future or our children.
This is not a left /right issue, you are confused. You are aware that our country is flat ,dead broke ! Right? our debt is astronomical ,you cannot just wish it away.Where do you propose we get the $ to fund anything?
man do you not know that the huge cost of healthcare is one of the things driving the country broke? Were you unaware that the huge number of medical bankruptcies (in '06 it was 60% for example) helped precipitate the housing crisis? How do you think that other countries with better economies and smaller % deficiets provide universal healthcare for thier citizens? Do these questions not bother you in the slightest?
if Joe Liberman supports this you know it's a piece if shit bill that will screw the people and benefit insurance companies.
