I don't like his attitude. He's making jokes when he should be acting more professional. Instead of yelling around like an idiot, he can yell out "INCOMING" everytime he knows mortars are going to fall. This could give more of an early warning for any soldiers who are dismounted from their vehicles. When those men got hit, instead of shouting "BLA BLA HIT GO GET THEM BLA!" he could have said "We have casualties!" Etc. Etc. More professional. Joke around when the time allows it. Not now.

Assuming the mortars weren't fired by complete incompetents, with so many rounds striking the west side of the convoy and with the convoy turning north, I'd guess the target firing them was south west of the convoy, bunkered down.

Those mortar shooters were pretty shit, except the 4 landing in the same 50 off metres, obviously didn't pre-register them before they set the IED, but to the untrained it looks silly the vehicles just moving a little bit, but as the man said, IED took out a truck, you go static, assess your casualties, put out a perimeter, arrange evac and exfil the vehicle or at worst deny it to the enemy by fragging it with C4 or a missile from air. Good footage though, those mortars hurt like fuck.
