Kat Von D Sinner, Saint, and Poetica Palette Swatches

Thank's for the video. I was wondering what the difference was between Poetica and True Love, cause to me they looked the same online. I haven't seen Poetica in person. May I ask is there, a cream eyeshadow in the palette?

@sandra666 Nope none of the new palettes in the metal cases have creams in them - I think they realized that they dry up too fast lol.

@illusica yeah they always tend to put the "limited edition" tag on her palettes, but they usually stick around for a while :) I think the only ones that weren't called limited edition were the first 2 she put out!

I love watching your reviews on Kat's stuff. I'm obsessed with her makeup line and already own ALL of the previous palettes so I didn't want to get these because of the repeat colors, but, man! After watching this I think I need them hahaha. The new colors just seem too good to pass up! Haha.

Ah you rock! It was great to find a review and swatches of all of them in one place. I have six palettes so far.. Well I sold one and put one up for swap so 4 now. Poetica has some nice colors; I didn't get the True Love!

I can't decide between sinner and poetica...I mean yeah I don't use greys, but sinner looks so awesome that you could really play with it you know?

@SullenxRiot182 Thanks so much for the quick reply :D!!Yeah, I read somewhere that those greys don't work well with dark brown eyes, but I still use them from the Metal Orchestra Palette sometimes...I'm thinking of starting with Poetica since I love the purples and the Wonderland one looks seriously amazing!!

Do you think any of the shades in Saint are dupes of her pigments?

@killerteeth Sunny is kind of close to the Rapture pigment, but the pigment has more of an orangey coral tone to it. Other than that, there isn't another that really matches and of the pigment colors :)

OH i love that Sinner palette! How freaking pretty is that?! I remember when i first got my KVD palette i could NOT get it open. I had no idea how to open that damn box. lol Saint is gorgeous too!!

thank you so much! i've been waiting for someone to do the saint palette because when i went to sephora they didn't have it yet because the shipment got held up by hurricane irene. out of curiosity which do you like better the kvd saint or the urban decay naked?i've been wanting a good neutral palette.

@missmissay27 I really like them both, it's so hard to pick! The Naked palette has more shades which is definitely better if you want a little more variety, but I just love how smooth and blendable the KVD shadows are - they are my favorite shadows out of all the makeup I own!

Okay, I take my last comment back. Saint is probably going to be the one I end up getting, lmao. That has some really awesome shades. I think there are more in that one I'd like than the others. I'll eventually get Sinner also, I think, but Saint will probably be the first.
