But as I know from several sources, Schwarzkopf was a great admirer of Lotte Lehmann and so she try to take over Lehmann's interpretation of the Marschallin.
Thanks for the comment. I didn't mean to imply that Schwarzkopf wanted to imitate Kemp -- just that she sounds so similar to Kemp here (similar vocal timbre and phrasing). ; ) I can imagine many sopranos wanting to follow in Lotte Lehmann's footsteps.

Yes, you are right.
